While I'm under no illusion that I will ever own their cubs, I'm continually fascinated by their products and brand. The recent interview with Bob Parsons in Golf Digest was avery entertaining, and I'm a fan of some of their staffers, such as James Hahn and Billy Horshel. I also occasionally see the odd 3 iron or driver in a random bag, so they have to be on to something as the design develops. Anyone have any experience with the clubs or sales reps? This is a brand I would really like to see broken down by the MGS staff.

They've done quite a few blog articles on PXG, haven't seen any specific equipment reviews or results though.

Received my set (3-GW ) last week and stripped them apart. Hope to reshaft mine this weekend once my PX LZ's come in. I've hit them extensively and they will perform just as good as anything else on the market if not better. I've been dying for a new brand. I am sure everyone else has too!

They are so "customer" specific though there is no way you could buy a set off eBay or 2nd hand...lofts and lies and lengths would be all over the place.

Yup. Nickent arc blade irons came out in 2008 for $800. You could get the 8 and 9 iron of the PxGs for that.

Yea, but they'd still be Nickent. If you're looking at PXG's or talking about PXG's the reference to cost is immaterial. Are you going to compare a Rolex to a Timex? A Tesla to a Prius? Didn't think so.

The Callaway PM Grind wedges remind me more of the Nickent Arc Blades than anything.

I thought about that after I typed my comment. You are absolutely right. Poor Nickent went the way of Wilson and became a bargain brand. They used to have really nice stuff.

I'm an unabashed Wilson fan - their pro line stuff is as good as anyone's IMO. Gaming the FG Tour V4's - best irons I've ever played! Check em out.
