Does any one have any idea where I can get some head cover sewing patterns, I have an idea to make some but I don't know where to find the pattern for the type I am looking for, I want to make them that look like this. The idea is to use the material from some of my old BDU's, I have some Desert camo, and green camo that I can use.

I just went through this trying to find a mallet pattern cover. I ended up finding an old used one and I took it apart and traced the pattern

That's what I was thinking too. Just take one apart and there's your pattern. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

ROTFLMAO in other words you are saying do not drop one in the woods.

 

One of my buddies on WRX had one of the cover companies make some covers out of one of his grandfather's leather jackets and they looked great. For him it was a sentimental thing as I can see it being for you

I will likely have to take one apart I guess. No problem, I was just wondering if any one knew of where to find some. I've got all the old uniforms packed away and I thought it would be cool to do them

The problem is Tazz, this is the only one of this type I have, so i will have to find another one to tear apart to get the pattern, or I may just have to tear apart this one, and I'm not sure you will want it all torn apart.

What I am going to end up doing is: I can find o e of these head covers at golfsmith in one of the bind they have for 5-10 bucks so I will buy one of those to take apart and go from there.

I ended up grabbing an old one from the lost and found bin at my club. Might be worth checking that too. They usually know which ones have been there for a while.
