chershey
It's crazy! I know trading in clubs is the quick and easy way to get money from your old clubs but you are taking a lot less than you could get on eBay or some of these sites classified sections. Money must not be an issue for him, or he's so far in debt he doesn't care. Hopefully he at least got fitted for the new clubs. Fireinthehole
This story is too funny, though I would probably do the same, trade ins that is. Not for PXG though. For starters Parsons Extreme Golf, is one of the corniest names I've ever heard. The clubs I've demoed were nothing special either, but priced high enough to entice the status crowd. To each his own I guess. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy mobile app My Mixed-Bag: Driver: Mavrik Sub zero, ventus black 7x Fairway: Still looking! sp0rtsfan86
Stories like that remind me of when Years ago I went to the NYC golfsmith. It's an experience like none other as guys in custom suits come out of the office and go right to golfsmith I was in town a block away helping my dad at work and during a "I don't need you now" period I went down a half block. Guy walks in and mutters what do I want what do I want hits a few drivers and 15 minutes later walks out with a brand new released driver. He may have hit a dozen balls with this thing. Another guy says to the lady at the register "I hope you don't need to ask me my name." She said no, that she voted for him. That was the first and last time I ever got to see Rudy Giuliani in person. He had to drop 3-400 bucks in a sitting. Meanwhile as a college kid I was debating whether to spend the money for that years Bridgestones rather than save 10 bucks for last years.
