I was interested in some of the smaller golf companies like snell or vice. Any one have any info?

There's a ton of info on this site. Especially Snell. Snell is excellent. Do a search and you'll see.

Played with ProV1'$ until I got hooked on Snell's My Tour Ball, very similar characteristics but for me MTB has given me at least 10 yards in distance and 10+ dollars in my pocket. Can't go wrong with Snell's MTB IMHO

Yeah I just did a search to see now that you did it PlaidJacket. I've heard a bit about snell just nothing about vice.

I do know there were other small companies like kickx and lightning and 3up but that are all out of business due to titliest

I'll be definitely looking at the Snell Tour balls when I run out of my Pro V1 stash.

... I have only played the Vice Pro Plus but was very impressed. Night quite as durable as the Tour Preferred X, my favorite ball, but performance was excellent and I would not hesitate to put one in play for a serious event.

Check out Vision from Australia. I've been playing a couple types of theirs and they're exceptional! They've beat-out the Snell MTB I've been playing!!! Many different options!

Out of all the golf balls I have tested, the vice pro and pro plus, are the closes I have seen to the pro v1 and v1x respectively. The snell was a bit of a hybrid Between the two with some DNA from the taylormade tour preferred series.

This was exactly my experience.  My friend has been playing golf for 20+ years and has always used the PRO V1 until I gave him a sleeve of Snell My Tour Balls to try.  I recently ordered 6 dozen and he bought 2 dozen from me because he now prefers it to anything else.  Hey, if the guy who owns the most patents on Pro V1's and Taylormade golf balls can't make a good ball, who can.

We checked out Vision a few years ago. Very nice ball, i liked it....played about 4 dozen.  They are difficult to get in the states.

... I was going to order the 5 dozen Vice Pro Plus deal for $125. Instead I ordered 6 dozen Kirkland Signatures for $90. I have two dozen each of my Z Stars and Tour Preferred X balls left but was afraid Costco would run out of Signature balls because they have a habit of stocking something I love then discontinuing it, so for $90 it was a no brainer.
