Marking golf ball

I was wondering how everyone marked there golf ball? Random thoughts

I mark mine with a pink dot over the number and a pink line on the writing of what kind of ball it is

4 dots. Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow surrounding the Titleist logo plus a black line for lining up putts.

 

The four dots are same colour and arrangement as my Scotty Studio Design. I just thought it was cool and decided to mark my ball that way as well.

I've been using the Chrome Soft with truvis technology, the yellow and black version, so there really is no need to add any other markings

If I mark my ball, which isn't often, I usually mark it with the initials of my children. I usually arrange them around the number in some way.

I mark mine with a Blue dot in a dimple sort of to the right of the numbers....

I have personalized ones, but when I happen to be using one that isn't,I'l  use a read line over the alignment aid.

Six Black dots around the number----  That is just the way my old man done his except back then the balls were balata and you could punch the dots in with a pencil--- He always played #1 balls whether it was Titleist of Dunlop. I went the opposite way and played high number balls-- Now I just play what ever number comes up

... Been using this design for about 10 years now. One rainy day I must have marked about 50 balls trying to come up with something simple and artistic.

I have $2 plastic thing that draws a long thin black line over the stamped line aid. That and I play Snell so there is no need for a mark since I'm the only out there playing it!

Two dots one on either side of the number. I use either pink, blue or purple which are the favorite colors of each of my children. Not sure why I mark them considering I play balls with the number 45 on them and my initials.

I play the Duo Urthanes still so I mark in black sharpie over the lettering. That's the line I use for putting. Then it's my initial next to the number around the size of the number. I keep it simple, although my golf buddy says he's found plenty of balls marked with an N around golf courses.

I either put 3 dots on either side of the Titliest (or whatever brand name) sign or put a Southern Cross above the sign.

I thought so too until two weeks ago when I found a Snell MTB that wasn't mine!!  

 

I mark mine with a red line on the stamped alignment aid line, then another red line perpendicular to one end of that line.  This forms a big T which I use for aligning putts; point the stem of the T on the intended line and square my putter to the top of the T.  I need to do this to make sure that I start the ball where I want because I am looking at the hole, not the ball when I putt.

A pink dot about 2 dimples above the name of the ball, on the right side of the name.

Am putting Snell MTB into action this week (no one else that I know of or have seen plays them in my parts),  but will still do the pink dot to keep the continuum.

I rarely if ever mark my ball. Most people never use a Snell or I'm past most of the people I play with. I have taken some "1"s and turned them into "R"s though, which I thought was pretty creative for me lol

I combined 2 marks because people I've played (like ol gray) used the circle, I switch to dot covering the number & had others do the same. So now its circle # & dot on other side of brand. Oh & ALWAYS blue
