Time stamp on posts

Out of curiousity, what is the time stamp based on? I noticed a post stamped for today at 2:54pm and its barely 11:00am.
Nothing helps you find a lost ball better than a provisional hit straight down the middle.

Do you have your time zone set up in your forum profile? I seem to get pretty accurate times.

(The IT professional in me says if you want to check, click the black box in the top right of your screen where your user name is listed then click my settings. The first option will be the time zone settings. Click the correct time zone, scroll to the bottom and hit save then refresh the web page. Should likely sort it. If not, you can clean your cookies, reapply the time zone and you should be good.)

I noticed back in April (daylight savings time) that after DST it was off by one hour, so I just switched my timezone.
