Any thoughts os developing a lite version of the forum for smartphones?

There is an iPod/iPhone at call TapATalk or something like that that has support for various forums.

If you have a link to something that will do it I would be happy to make that happen. When it comes to blogs I know all the developmental stuff out there but the forums are new to me. But if there is something out there to convert it I will make that happen.

I've found that Opera browser works pretty well ... it's a free download, too

Morris is exactly right! If you have a smart phone check out Opera Mini. I downloaded it on my Blackberry Tour and Opera Mini is a much faster and easier to use browser than the standard issue browser.

What about for iPhone?? I need HELP!!

I'm happy with the Google browser on my HTC Hero android phone and I hesitate to throw another browser into the mix. I get the topics page just fine but there's just to much clutter to be able to easily open threads.

If mentioning another forum here is against the rules I apologize but 4GEA.com has a lite HTML version available on the bottom of the login page that is terrific for mobile phones. I'm not suggesting people use that forum; I mention it for any help it might give this site owner in establishing a better mobile app.

Totally fine to mention another forum on here. We just will not be that way.

In regards to the Lite Version I think we do have one I will have to check on that.

I just got off of the App Store, and there is an App called Tapatalk that supports forum client for vBulletien and phpBB. Is it possible to install the server extension?? I would love to use this instead of safari while I'm at work.
