In doing some research on the MX-300s, I saw a pretty sweet pic (below) in which someone removed the badges from the back of the clubs. Added with the paintfill & ferrules, it looked awesome. I'm sure it's not that difficult, but does anyone have experience doing something like this? Any insight on the process would be greatly appreciated!

A pick and a little head applied to loosen the tape and off she peels. It really is that simple.

Yup. I actually did this to an MX-300 myself. It's really just a thick sticker, nothing complicated about removing it at all.

There is a bit of mass associated with the little badges, so the headweights of the clubs could be off a little. Not enough for me to notice, but some people are a bit picky..

There aren't 2 grams there, which is what it would take to effect the swingweight. Together, they weigh in just over a gram. At least every one I've seen weighed do.

Looks nice without the badges. I think it would be a good idea to keep the old badges in separate marked bags and preserve them so you will always have the option to re-attach with epoxy if you change your mind at a later date, or want to sell the set to a picky buyer.

I believe the ones on Ping irons are specially weighted so that each club is the perfect weight, to make up for imperfections in the casting process. I think they are also different weights for different irons to ensure a better progression of the COGs. That said, you probably still wouldn't feel much of a difference.

He fell out of the cart laughing when I hit my 3rd 90º into the woods... I was hitting I was hitting my 5th before he hit his 2nd. WORST HOLE I'VE EVER PLAYED...
