Well, I've bought a vintage driver to go in my bag as well. I had one oh, say 10 years ago. LOL. I'll be updating when it gets here as well. Gotta find the shaft for it though.

Well, the final pieces finally came in... Jim Kronus at The Iron Factory did the work. Now time to get them assembled so I can take them and have them bent to spec.

Well, these are going to have to wait a few more days... Gotta order NEW tip weights, as the standard lead ones don't fit. Didn't even think to check for reinforced taper tips, which DGTI's are... So now to find some weights that will fit.

That said, I picked up an old school Nike Sq Tour last week and just tonight, I picked up a Nike Forged 400 off the tour van with a Purple Ice 85X in it. Looking like I'm getting ready to have a classic driver shootout (classic for me). LOL. Now if I can just figure out if I want to keep the ProForce Accra Launch Control in the Sq or putting a Blueboard in it like the one I used to play...

New tip weights arrived... Assembly commenced

Epoxy dry and working on build up tape. It's a PITA to cut 4 pieces of tape 10.25" per club. Fingers getting tired so taking a break. I've got half of them built up(tried 3 layers and had to go back and add one more).

Now I gotta decide on if I am gonna keep the paintfill stock all black or if I'm going with one of the 2 test irons (one has Tiffany Blue for the sole number and the other has Tiffany Blue for the swoosh).

I murdered my driver my last time out (Superfast LCG that is). So what do I do? Buy an Adams Launch Lab of course lol. Waiting on Phil to get back to me on a shaft he think would suit me in it.

After chatting with Phil, I've ordered a Talamonti LS-70 for the launch lab and during that chat, he made a suggestion when I said I may respray the head. Now it's got my wheels turning. May go with candy lime

Changing the irons finally. Got a set of Ping i20's on the way. 5-UW. Don't k ow if the UW will KO the Eye2 bent to GW loft but ill try it. They're currently shafted with KBS Tours but I'm fairly certain ill be swapping those out with DGTI's in S400 when they get here.

I hate what showed up on my doorstep. Lets call the description generous. The soles of 4 of the 7 clubs look like someone practiced on asphalt with them. I'm not mad, I'm pissed.

Does this look like light, average wear to the faces and soles? Because that's what the item description was. Also says there's no large nicks, you can clearly see the gouge in the face/groove on the UW.

Wow that 5 iron is Fu#ked up

The 5 isn't even that bad, heck if they all looked like the 5 iron, I'd be okay with it. The 7, 8, and 9 have the soles worn to the point that it's hard to make out the iron number. I've NEVER seen Pings worn like this, seriously. That's part of the reason I decided to go Ping, because they're supposed to be bullet proof. Yeah, unless you're using the cart path as a range mat. And to top it off, the 7 and 8 iron's appear to have the little vibration insert epoxied back on to them. It's not dirt, that's for sure.
