I can't get my hands all cut or callused as I am an LMT so I double bag it! I use a glove on each hand with FJ Rain gloves, Tommy-2-glove style. I find it doesn't bother me feel wise when I drive, pitch, chip or putt. I think once you get use to something or practise long enough it shouldn't matter, glove or no glove.

I play golf almost everyday, even though that pesky job has interfered the last few weeks, but still probably 5 rounds a week. I have able to do this for the past few years, the first year I was going through at least one glove per month. Finally, I decided to get used to playing without a glove. I developed calluses at first, but about a year and a half ago I went to an oversized grip with extra tape underneath. The purpose was to quiet my hands but the net effect was that after a month or so, I really do not know because I was not paying attention at the time but later on I noticed that the calluses were gone. The grips were discontinued so I bought a bunch off of ebay and have used them when regripping clubs. Now I am down to four and had to regrip my irons a month ago, so I went with a white tour wrap that I liked and because they looked cool. They are not oversized, but I did build up under them. I have started developing calluses again on my left ring finger. There was an article about it in one of the golf magazines after I changed.
I live in Texas where it is hot and humid but never really had a problem with moisture. I dry my hands before I pick the club, and clean the club before I put it back. These are part of my preshot and postshot routines and it is cheaper than $20 per month on gloves. I do have two gloves that wear when it is cold but that is a different story.

I do not wear a glove because I can't get one on. I have dupuytrens contrature. I used to interlock but my hands got so bad I quit playing for 25 years. I think you can never quit this game. I thought about it everyday and finally started back with no glove and a ten finger grip. I have to force the grip under the pinky on both hands. I found I do better with midsize Lamkin classic wrap grips. I make my clubs and currently use Snakeyes 685OS irons and Apollo Acculite 85 shafts. I install my grips by using masking tape instead of 2 sided tape. I do not use solvents. I use a small compressor set at about 45psi and a needle inflator. All cheap at Harbor Freight. I use about a strip of 2" masking tape the length of the grip, spray it lightly with mineral spirits, stick the inflator in the end of the grip, get the grip started and gently blow it on making sure to get it all the way down before releasing the air pressure. Makes it simple to remove the grips also if you care to reuse them. Maybe I should do that in the DIY section.

Wore a glove for the first month when I started but havn't touched one since. Have tough hands from working labor jobs through college but I should probably wear one because my hands sweat a lot. I like the feel and have just gotten used to playing without and I've done alright.
