Seems like we have our diehards here like everywhere else, but I wouldn't, call it super popular. Seems like more people are into fishing and outdoor things than golf. I might be wrong..

The people that I know who live in Oregon seem a little too granola to golf, but my sample size is pretty small.

That really depends on the part of the state. We have our fair share of "necks" too.

Maybe Footjoy should team up with Birkenstocks and tap into a completely new demographic for golf. After all, granolas already like the outdoors. That could be money.

I think so. I wish I were an artist. If you be fun to come up with a conceptual drawing and then leak it to MGS. LOL.

Yeah, I love sandals (actually, it's more that I hate socks), but the golf sandals I've tried were pretty weak. If they came out with a legit golf sandal, I'd be all over it. I guess the problem is that the more you build up the sandal to hold the foot in place, the less like a sandal it becomes.

Hi there..

Indian Lake is not somewhere that I am familiar with. I know most of the courses in the state, but that one eludes me..

I heard a rumor that Golf Town in Canada is going out of business. They will be shutting stores and going online only. Has anyone else heard this? Is there any truth to it?

Wood Bros Persimmon, has anyone done a comparrison of the distance that they managed to hit old Wood Bros drivers. I recently obtained a Kool Kat ads have found that it is only about 5-10 yards shorter than my gamer Callaway 815 Alpha. I have just turned 50 so grew up with persimmon and still enjoy playing them occasionally but most of the 50's clubs are about 20 yards behind , I normally carry the Callaway about 235-240 as my swing speed has come down to about 95mph.
