Got some golf gear you need to unload?

We want this to be a place to help you guys be able to buy, sell and trade with other MGS Forum members. Simply put this is a place to help you get rid of some of your old gear so you can maybe get some new gear ;)

So I got a couple of tickets, speeding (going downhill coasting at 5:15 AM, but I should've paid more attention), and they threw in a complementary seatbelt ticket as a bonus. I was half asleep on my way to work, and just wasn't paying attention. No other cars on the road, but the small city I live in needs all the revenue it can get. I was unhappy to oblige, but I am managing to give back to my little community (got a stop sign ticket earlier this year, the cop said, and I quote "I was running radar and you slowed to 1 MPH (I didn't know it'd even read that low) instead of coming to a complete stop." Again, at the end of the road I live on, and again, at 5:15 on my way to work. I'm thinking about selling my car and getting something that's different because evidently a red Scion xB is a magnet for them. Regardless, I figured I'd try to make it a little more painless and hopefully move a few items that SWMBO is complaining about being in my spares bag.

On to the goods, and everything is OBO. Also, all measurements were taken using a Mitchell ruler with the Mitchell soleplate and are to the butt of the grip. All prices include shipping within the continental US, and all items come as pictured (sorry, don't do ratings, too subjective. There's a ton of pics in this post though to illustrate condition.

1. King Cobra 14* 3 wood. One of my favorites I've ever owned. I have 4 of these, I'm selling 2 of them (1 my uncle gave me that I think started my club hoing (that I'll never sell), cause I bought 4 of them, 2 matching 5 woods, and a couple of other iterations of this fairway, there's another in this listing though). It has a Graphite Designs YS 7+ in it. Don't know any tipping as I bought it as it sits today. I do know it is still a very good feeling 3 wood, as I hit it a few weeks ago just to revisit that option. Used to hit nice low runners with it so I figured why not try it out again for the faster firmer dormant fairways we get now. It measures 42.75" and has a Golf Pride DD2 midsize on it. No HC. Let's go $28.

2. Mizuno MP-R 52 degree gap wedge. It's got some awesome lead tape on the back side that I can remove if you request it. I bought this a while back to try a gap wedge out. Now I play one full time, but not this one. Looks to have possibly had the grooves resharpened and whomever did it slipped a little in a few places. Regardless, it plays fine (chip around the house with it at times). What you see is what you get. Measures 35 9/16" and has a Lamkin Performance Plus 3gen midsize on it (put a fresh grip on it a month or so ago as it was getting worn). TTDG shaft. $26

3. Nike SV 58 degree that has had a c-grind and flamed finish done to it. There's a small ding on the face. Has also been ported. Grip has had the swoosh paintfilled to match. Measures 35" even TTDG S400. $32

4. King Cobra 14* 3 wood. This one has the stock shaft that the only graphics you can see is the word Cobra. Tried to capture it. It's an S-Flex according to the person I bought it from a while back. No way of verifying unless there's actually a butt sticker on it, which I doubt. Regardless, it measures 43.25" and has a Golf Pride NDMC(standard size) on it. $23

5. King Cobra The Baffler. I believe this was their first iteration of the Baffler, and was the first hybrid ever. As you can see my affinity for this series of clubs again. I believe, if memory serves, the loft on this one is 19*. It has the stock Cobra graphite in S-flex in it. Classic hybrid that I've always loved (have another of these as well). Measures 41 15/16" and has a brand new Lamkin 85th anniversary on it. $23

6. R11 Blus 70 X flex 3 wood shaft. Standard length out of an R11 3 wood (bought on here, never hit this shaft, I just wanted the R11 head, previous owner probably did though, don't know). Also has a brand new Lamkin 85th anniversary grip on it. $27

7. Rescue11 4/21 Aldila RIP TP 85gram S flex shaft. Traded for this club as well, and immediately replaced the shaft upon getting it after replacing the grip and hitting 5 balls. I'm imagining, again, it's standard length. Has Lamkin Performance Plus 3gen midsize in it. $32

8. Cobra Trusty Rusty (original model) 55* wedge. Measures 35.25" and I did put a coat or two of cold blackening solution on it to darken it up when I got it. There are a few spots on the face that were already rusted that I didn't clean off when doing the cold bluing. Just wanted something on it at the time that was a dark finish until it finally rusted. Ended up not liking the feel when chipping with it in the house. I did wipe it down with a coat of Eezox prior to snapping pics though. Has GolfPride Dual Durometer grip on it that has some kind of scarring (not all the way through the grip) around the hole in the grip's butt. $25

9. R11 ASP Soleplate. This is an OEM soleplate off of an R11. Comes with what's pictured, the plate and the screw. If youre torqued out/stripped or is scratched up, this is perfect for you. I bought a 1 degree #9 plate to replace this one with. This is the 2 degree #8 stock plate. $19

10. Best Grips Ravinia green (lizard or aligator skin, I'm not a reptile biologist so I'm not certain) stitchback putter grip. Brand new, never installed, nothing. Didn't like the shape of it when it got here. (The last pic I tried to take of the inside of the grip so you could see that it's never been used) $40

barbajo  You'd think a fantasy team with Webb Simpson, Rory, Hunter, Graeme McDowell & Louis Ousthauizen would do some serious damage at the Player's. Well, they did, but not the kind of damage you want...
