Adams Offers New Finish Options for MB2 Irons

Sufficed to say our testers pretty much loved the Adams MB2 irons we tested earlier this year. Some people weren't thrilled about the original finish (designed to wear and rust over time). If I'm being honest, I also wasn't a huge fan of the copper plugs either. That said, the topline was beautiful, and based on our results, the club flat out performs (better than you'd probably expect a blade would). Anyway, Adams apparently gets that not everyone loves the rust (although the rusted ones do look sweet at address), and so they've updated the MB2 offering to include a couple of additional finishes (satin chrome & black PVD).

I just checked in with Adams. The new finish options are available now (custom only). Adams also mentioned that they're seeing better numbers with their new Fairway wood than Dustin Johnson is getting with the new TaylorMade RocketBallz.

We're small, agile, and not smart enough to stop working at 5:00. I'm waiting for confirmation, but my guess is no upcharge so long as you stick with the stock shaft.

Just got the confirmation E-Mail. My set will be here in 3-5 days.. That means Friday or Monday. 3-PW Satin Finish. PJX 6.0 std specs. I'm quite excited. For someone who played 8 rounds last year, I am probably buying the wrong clubs... Oh well.

Got my set of satin heads and will be putting some C-Tapers in them soon. I was told the satin and pvd sets will be very limited.
