What is the finish on the 58° with the skull and bones? It looks blue.
I spy with my little eye something...

finalist, I'm guessing it's a sort of PVD finish.
In The Bag:
Driver: TaylorMade Superfast 2.0 version 2 LCG w/ Grafalloy BiMatrix Tour Proto X-flex
3+ wood: 13* Nike SQ w/ Aldila NV 85X tipped to spec
5 wood: 18* Nike SQ2 Monorail w/ Talamonti PD80 Tour X tipped to spec
4 Hybrid: 4/21 TaylorMade Rescue11 set to neutral w/ Talamonti H100 X tipped to spec
5-PW Adams A4 Tour Black w/ Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 hardstepped once, bent to trad. lofts
GW: 51 degree Ping Eye2 BeCu w/ TiSandvick Titanium Stepless X flex
SW: 56 degree Scratch Tour Dept 1018 w/ Dynamic Gold Spinner (CC grooves)
LW: 60 degree Scratch Tour Dept. 1018 w/ Dynamic Gold Spinner (CC grooves)
XW: 64 degree Callaway V-Forged Vintage w/ Dynamic Gold X100 Tiger Stepped (CC grooves off tour van)
Putter: Right now? Scotty Cameron Newport Beach 2 Prototype Centershaft 33.75" w/ Super Stroke USA Ryder Cup Slim

Have a ton of back-up putters and always play with 14 clubs, above are what's in the rotation. And yes, I'm a club *****.

I talked to Patrick a few days ago and he said they have a new PVD that is more durable. That could be it.

We have prototypes of 2 different head styles of our new production putters in our booth at the show. There are pics of both above. The center shafted mallet with the blue finish and the Anserish putter with the plumbers neck and the black finish.
They are both prototypes and will have slight changes made before the production run but are very close to what we will have available. They are 100% milled from a block of steel in the USA and should be released in April.
"The Living Legend" if you are at the show you should try to come back by tomorrow and see them before the end of the show.

That is a new finish that is similar to a Black Oxide except it is a really nice distinct blue color instead of Black. For now we are calling it Blue Oxide. I personally really like it.

Sounds great! Think my next set of wedges may just need that finish with some tiffany blue paint fill. DOG,DOG, and PWE.

mudfish  I got to play with a guy with cerebral palsy yesterday and made his day... He hits from the forward tees, and was making fun of me after I had a TERRIBLE tee shot and even worse second, and he still had to wait for me to hit... He fell out of the cart laughing when I hit my 3rd 90º into the woods... I was hitting I was hitting my 5th before he hit his 2nd. WORST HOLE I'VE EVER PLAYED...
