I would like to see the numbers behind tour balls created for different swing speeds. Bridgestone has a variety of their B330 tour balls and Srixon has now come out with some as well. I would actually like to see (numbers wise) the difference between a B330 and B330RX in someone with a sub 105mph SS. I'd also like to see the opposite of that; someone with a 105+mph SS hitting both balls. I think this would help a lot of people discover if they are actually playing the right ball.

That's an interesting idea. Not to be negative, but the problem would be trying to control for the other variables in the swing (angle of attack, among others). It would be a very cool idea if we could do 2 groups, one "fast" and one "slow," with enough golfers in each group to "wash out" some of those other variables.

This is a good idea. Along with using golfers with different swing types, the best way to wash out differences between swings IMO is to give relative results.

i.e. The Pro V1 spins X times more than the Pro V1x on average when hit with a 105mph swing. It spins Y times more with a 115mph swing. (and so on).

Yeah, after I typed that and thought about exactly what results I would like to see, I realized that it's probably a test best done by robot.

For consistency yes, a robot would be ideal. That said, I don't think it's necessary because very few people have a robotic swing. As long as your testers are consistent with their swings and they cover people with slow/fast tempo and high/low launch angle (spin), then your bases should be covered.
