So at some point soon I'm going to be getting a golf cart. I'm looking for ideas for a unique paint scheme. So far I've been debating about just going simple with maybe a metallic blue solid color, or my "all out" idea was to paint it like the cop car in the Transformers movie (Barricade) and getting "To Punish and Enslave" written on the side. Then getting some decepticon badges to put on it.

And yes, I grew up with Transformers in the 80's and I'm kind of a big kid when it comes to 80's cartoon nostalgia.

So lets hear em, got any great ideas for a golf cart paint scheme?

If it matter's I've been looking at EZ-GO carts in the 5-10 year old range with new batteries.

Barricade would be AWESOME. I also grew up in the 80s and am a big fan of the cartoons. If you don't go with Barricade, go with Battlecat (I had every He-man figure and have Battlecat sitting on my desk in my office).

Great idea, Battlecat would be sweet, but I'm guessing a lot of airbrushing = a lot of money :)

Maybe something with Thundercats would be doable...

Might be cheaper and easier to get a custom wrap installed. Like this one:Attached File  STXCartsmall.JPG (393.08K)

I've seen those wraps before, but my concern was how they would hold up over time. Don't want to have any bubbles, rips or tears in it.

@CCGolf - Have you had experience with them over time?

I work for a company called Cart Wrappers who designs, prints and installs them for advertisers. We guarantee them for 3 years at busy public golf courses so they are quite durable. Having a good installer is the key. PM me if you want more info.

How about an M4 Sherman paint scheme, to honor WW II vets, and make you look more intimidating!

My uncle had his done for the community he lives in down in SC with a WWII P-51 Mustang theme. I will have to see if I can find a picture of it to post, but it is a really cool scheme to use. He even has the license plate IRONASS on it after one of the P51s that flew in WWII.
