Whats up MGS,

Remember all the hype around Tiger Woods's new Nike Sneaker Type Barefoot Shoes his been wearing on tour? They are coming out this summer and I found these pics online of the shoes and thought I'd share it with you guys.

I bet these will be hot sellers because..well..Tiger wears them :) Cant wait for a review from My Golf Spy on these bad boys!

I'm betting they won't be hot sellers until they drop the initial price after the initial limited release in June. I want a pair but not at $179.

In The Bag
Driver: TaylorMade Tour Issue Superfast 2.0 LCG w/ USPG Black Ops Pearl X
Strong 3 wood: Taylormade SLDR TS 13* with Aldila NV 75X
3 Hybrid: Adams Super LSP 18* (bent to 17*) w/ KBS Tour Hybrid S flex tipped 1/2"
4 Hybrid: Adams Super LSP 20* (bent to 21*) w/ KBS Tour Hybrid S flex tipped 1/2"
5-7I : Tour Issued Adams CB2 w/ Dynamic Gold Tour issue S400 hardstepped 1x
8-GW: Tour Issued Adams CB1 w/ Dynamic Gold S400 hardstepped 1x

SW: 56* Cleveland CG12 (CC grooves) w/ Dynamic Gold Spinner
LW: 60* Cleveland CG12 (CC grooves) w/ Dynamic Gold Spinner
Putter: Mannkrafted Widebody Rattler 34", 71* lie, 4* loft

Have a ton of back-ups in all categories, but there are always 14 clubs in the bag that differ depending on the course and set-up. Bomb and gouge. Yes, I'm a club gigolo.

$179 is a little high for me also for a sneaker style of golf shoe from Nike. I would pay around $99-$129. I am really curious to see how comfortable they are and if they match up to True Linkswear.

If they are anything like the Nike Free-Run shoes....they are going to be amazing.

I wished they were truly spikeless though. I love my Eccos and AdiStreets for that very reason. No spikes to change every 10 rounds.

I want to love them, I've held them, they seem nice enough, but then I see this first photo here, and I think of old men's velco shoes

I've heard the "old man shoes" thing from a number of people. Personally, I don't care, I want to try a pair. I've never had Nike Frees, but everyone I've heard from raves about them.

I agree, a sneaker golf shoe, it's way over priced. Interested in how they feel and preform, but that price is a little much, and I am not a huge sneaker fan look.

Yes I would love for them to be spikeless but at the same time it might not be a bad thing since there isnt a lot of spiked sneakers on the market.

 at the old man shoes I heard that a lot also.

I personally still own 3 pairs of Nike Free (white, black/blue and silver/red :D ) and love them to death.
Hope the golf version is just as good... but you are right $175 is a little pricey.

I am on my second pair because I just really wore out the first one. 3 pairs! you must wear them everyday! :) Has anyone tried the other one from Adidas or other major brand companies?

I like to rotate them :P But yeah, work out, jogging, going out, etc...
They work as my flip flops as well
I tried Adidas Clima Cool once, but they didn't feel as soft as the Free.

I would love to try a pair of those and I'm sure they are awesome (I love Nike Free Sneakers), but $179 a pair will have to wait until they drop to less than half that price...

I bet the only reason it is $179 is because Tiger Woods's name is on the shoe. Hopefully a non-TW version will come out at $99.99!

I heard a rumor that Golf Town in Canada is going out of business. They will be shutting stores and going online only. Has anyone else heard this? Is there any truth to it?

Wood Bros Persimmon, has anyone done a comparrison of the distance that they managed to hit old Wood Bros drivers. I recently obtained a Kool Kat ads have found that it is only about 5-10 yards shorter than my gamer Callaway 815 Alpha. I have just turned 50 so grew up with persimmon and still enjoy playing them occasionally but most of the 50's clubs are about 20 yards behind , I normally carry the Callaway about 235-240 as my swing speed has come down to about 95mph. Would be interested...
