Saw a couple of these in the local shop today. Much cooler than the original IMO. Maybe they can do one in orange and black and then both sides can be armed for the 2012 Civil War...
Thoughts?

Yikes! Never used a Nike putter and certainly never a yellow and green putter.

Pretty cool...took the theme all the way with the HC and grip. Not surprising, I guess, what with the putter being Swoosh U colors.

No, Nike's founder is an Oregon alum and they're based in Oregon. They always do green and yellow Ducks themed golf stuff that's very limited. I'm betting this is another one. When they're resold they usually command a premium too.
In The Bag:
Driver: TaylorMade Superfast 2.0 version 2 LCG w/ Grafalloy BiMatrix Tour Proto X-flex
3+ wood: 13* Nike SQ w/ Aldila NV 85X tipped to spec
5 wood: 18* Nike SQ2 Monorail w/ Talamonti PD80 Tour X tipped to spec
4 Hybrid: 4/21 TaylorMade Rescue11 set to neutral w/ Talamonti H100 X tipped to spec
5-PW Adams A4 Tour Black w/ Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 hardstepped once, bent to trad. lofts
GW: 51 degree Ping Eye2 BeCu w/ TiSandvick Titanium Stepless X flex
SW: 56 degree Scratch Tour Dept 1018 w/ Dynamic Gold Spinner (CC grooves)
LW: 60 degree Scratch Tour Dept. 1018 w/ Dynamic Gold Spinner (CC grooves)
XW: 64 degree Callaway V-Forged Vintage w/ Dynamic Gold X100 Tiger Stepped (CC grooves off tour van)
Putter: Right now? Scotty Cameron Newport Beach 2 Prototype Centershaft 33.75" w/ Super Stroke USA Ryder Cup Slim

Have a ton of back-up putters and always play with 14 clubs, above are what's in the rotation. And yes, I'm a club *****.

Richard,

I was not as shocked as you by the look of it, but I am shocked by the sales. At my shop, we've moved through...maybe half a dozen? For as funky looking as that is, and at $200 (I think), that's a lot!

And people are offended by the use of belly putters. Uck. This is an abomination, but it looks better with the cover on. I am not sure I would take the cover off and walk on the green with it. Even if I was assured that I would sink every putt with it. Maybe if I could just sort of fold the over back and expose just the face.

I realized what this reminds me of, one of those old yellow and green super soakers. Unfortunately for it, it's still pretty horrendous

Awesome nostalgia-inducing reference!

I don't really like green or yellow, but I do kinda dig this look. Unfortunately, the putter sits WAY open, so no go for me.
