Hello everyone! While working on a few things for Kari, I realized that there was a set of pictures that needed to be shared here on MGS. Back in the middle of 2011 or so Kari was approached by a representative of a very exlusive club in Melbourne Australia who wanted to commission Kari to build a considerable number of putters surrounding a highly exclusive event at said club. Many different models were requested throughout the final approval process. At day's end it was decided that the model to be used was Kari's KLP-4. These putters have Kari's Lizard face milling are plated in 24K gold, have Gripmaster Exotic black Ostrich leg grips custom engraved with individual names and a special custom head cover....very cool stuff! Though 38 were ordered initially, to date, Kari has made well over 50 of these for club members...

Saw these on PT before, but happy to see them again. Amazing face milling.

Not sure on that one Ed? I do not have a bunch of experience with gold on clubs. The ones I have seen plated gold end up looking pretty ugly and thin after a while. Of course, that depends on the thickness of the plating...knowing how well his other plated finish options hold up, I'd have to say pretty well on these!

Kari has "Special Project #2" in progress. Hopefully he gets the green light to send me some sneak peeks. Should be pretty bad a#%!!!

Would anyone estimate what one of those putters would sell for? i am just curious They would be too beautiful to take out and actually play with

I will check with Kari and see if he will divulge the actual number? My guess, all dressed up with the exotic grips & custom covers $600-700 range...
