I am in serious jealous mode over all the pinkness and the Steeler swag. I am asking Santa for a pink Terrible towel! SUPER UBER SWEET!

I hate to say it Richard, but the steelers grips on the 59s I got from you may not last. I can't in good faith keep such blasphemous grips and look another packer fan in the face.

 

On an unrelated note, I walked into a somewhat specialty golf shop here in Honolulu while killing some time and they had a number of exTREMEly pink drivers that would have been right up your alley.

I play white Golf Pride Tour Wraps and they are not bad about dirt. They do start to look dirty after 10 or 20 rounds so I wash them and they look just fine. I have had white Winn grips and Lamkins and some others including a white Winn Lite Putter grip that look like you dragged them from one hole to the next. The putter grip will not stay white for more than 3 holes and I hate it.

I play black/white Sharpros and the white marks up fast. My New Decade whiteouts are slightly more durable and Nidine's white Winn's get pretty dirty. Nothing a good scrubbing doesn't solve for any of these.

Paul, what brands were they? Were they new releases, customs(Lim Ed) or garbage & were they mens' stix

 

Couldn't tell ya what they were. I was on the phone the whole time I was in the shop, just shuffling around. I believe they were Pings, though beyond that my already horrible memory is useless.

HAHA! I can live with that. I wouldn't expect ya to keep em on, anymore than I'd keep a green/yellow grip on my clubs, although teams aside, I think that a green/yellow grip would be better lookin than black/gold. I told ya, I didn't really like the look of those grips when they were on the irons.

 

Oh well, I've got these little obsessive compulsions(is that description even grammatically correct?..lol) baout lookin down at my grips & likin what's starin back a me..lol

Now, as for the grips... I really want to overhaul all 14 clubs with a mixture of red, white, and black new decades for half of the set, and then the inverted colored new decade whiteouts for the rest. basically every combination possible of new decades that involve red, white and black.

 

Also, Richard, I was out of the country over my birthday this summer, as per usual, and my parents finally got me a birthday present... It's a SWEET red, black, and white Mizuno Aerolite bag. Don't worry, there are still a few Wilson Staff FG Tour V2s in there (3-5 iron) representing. Now I just need a nice W/S bag towel and I'll be good. I figured you'd probably get a kick out of my new-ish Mizuno affinity.

Well yeah, I don't know if it happened in shipping or somehow I did it myself, but the 5 iron shaft on the 59 was bowed... So I made it a combo set until I swap the kbs shafts over. I love the wedge! It's a 50°, and when I do the shaft swap I'll be shifting everything so the 50° wedge will get the kbs pw shaft and I'll move the dg spinner over to the scratch 56°. I can't wait.

Dude, those clubs were perfect, & I mean like pro shop perfect when they left Pgh. I mean you say what the others looked like. The 5i was no different. Do you want me to contact the USPS?

No worries at all, I straightened it out just fine. I really just had a hard time totally shelving the Staffs so I decided to incorporate them because they have a little more cavity back than the 59s. No need to contact USPS. I didn't even notice it until I was putting it back in the bag after a bad shot. I'm just going to assume that I'm just so powerful and awesome that the club just bent in the swing because of the enormous amount of torque. Either way, very soon it'll have a different shaft anyway.

 

Can't wait for the FLI HI!!!!

WD, first, thank you very much for posting these pics...Regarding the JPG name, I have no idea how to change it...I wasn't kidding when I told you that I'm very challenged when it comes to using a computer....Fortunately, I have a great assistant who takes care of all of my "heavy" work professionally...

 

Hopefully, I can learn to post pics, because a lot of those putters are custom worked and I'd be willing to part with 'em....I definitely passed Hoedum about 23-25 putters ago..lol...Now, the 11 drivers?...That's Hoedum....

I got the Fire for Christmas, procceeded to put 37 books on it(34 were golf..lol), then I left it on a plane, never to be heard from again. And no, nothing was backed up. Unlike my iPhone & iPod, I didn't know how to back up the Fire.

 

For that reason, I've gone back to buying hard & soft books, though I have 22 books in my iPhone.

 

I sorta hate technology..LOL

Some more Tiffany glassware. I got a little bit lucky, & won the punch bowl back in August at our four club Match Play championship. Each club sent 5 guys. I hadda good draw then a plus 3 got sick in the semis and +1 played over par in the finals. Oh well, match play'll do that to a guy..LOL

80 grit will do it quick and give you some gription for spin Rick! Haha! The bag looks great Richard. The pink bird is a nice touch. You'll be swinging them again soon.
