Well, almost blacked out anyway. I had to throw a little color in the paintfill, so I matched it to my putter. This is a gloss black polymer. I washed it, and didn't get all the water spots off, but you get the idea. Thoughts?

I may still redo it in matte black, but have to order that material, as I don't currently have any here. So I refinished it in gloss black so I could see if I like the color in tomorrow's round. I have been playing a ghost since last year, so this is my first foray back to black in a while...

As long or longer than a factory paint job. It's a polymer finish and they're much more durable than paint.

Polymer is similar to powdercoat, but it goes on much thinner (roughly 1 mil thick (not a millimeter, but a mil, a thousandth of an inch)). The application process is similar to powdercoat as well, but not quite. It's a baked finish to harden it.

You can probably do the oven work in the kitchen, but is the polymer sprayed on or can it be wiped ?

It's sprayed, do it in a toaster oven, son't want those fumes in where I cook my food. Bought the toaster oven for this purpose.

I'm curious what sort of setup you have. Besides the toaster oven, what else do you use?
