The latest in the Cardiff series from Ashworth, the new Cardiff Mesh is lightweight, breathable, and waterproof. For those of you who like the look of a casual shoe, this one might be just what you're looking for.

Waterproof mesh? Breathable? I'm eager to hear how these actually hold up in those regards.

T, nice pics...Yea, I got a pair cuz I liked their leather shoes so much and the two year waterproof warranty, well ya can't beat it, or at least Foot Joy & Ecco can't...Also, they are extremely comfortable....All of the pros wear them on and off of the course, though I just wear them on the course....

I've only worn leather shoes, even when I added the casual shoes, though these were sharp looking & the blue sole, stitching & accents sealed the deal for me...lol....

Enjoy 'em......

I have a pair of the leather Ashworth Cardiffs. I love them. I got them in January or so and have barely worn any other shoe any where. They are still waterproof and I not only wear them daily for golf, but to the store, out to eat, on trips, to work, every where. They are so comfortable. I do not think they will last two years but well worth the money.

I thought that the sole was going to cake with mud easily and I would hate them. I was wrong, again. It is amazing that you can walk in mud and yeah it will fill up but it cleans out very easily.

The traction on wet grass is also very good. I think I slipped once and that was on a slope that was difficult under dry conditions.

Did I mention that I love them and wear them all the time. Several guy I play golf with have gotten this type of shoe since I have but none are better and some the Addias comes to mind look cheap.

"It's amazing that you can walk in mud and yea it will fill up"...Jesus Dude, where do ya play, in a swamp?.....LOL...I'm just messin with ya RR, but seriously, you've had your shoes filled with mud?...

I've hit from just on water's edge where I had to take my shoe off and roll up my pants leg, but I don't ever think that I was ankle deep in mud....

Anyway, the mental picture of that when I read it was too much...You know that I mean it good naturedly in jest...That would make for a great testimonial with a picture!....
