Super Tuna
Interesting. That's the first putter from TM that I've actually liked. To bad it'll be like $600 to $800 to obtain. I'll need until, say, 2015 to save up enough for what I would like to buy... ...seriously though, some of the Japanese market clubs are just a whole different level (IMHO) in terms of looks. Super Tuna
I have pretty good access to most JDM brands here but I won't see a whiff of these for example. The whole Glorie line is so expensive that it just won't sell over here. I mean the driver is pretty much a more forgiving R11s without the ASP but goes for more then twice as much. RoverRick
Dude, the Japanese travel to Hawaii to buy stuff because it is so much cheaper. Hawaii? The highest prices in the country and they think of it as we do traveling to Mexico. (But you can drink the water in Hawaii.) fairwaygolfusa
Love the look of the face milling. I really need to get my hands on one of these to review. I have never been a fan of Taylormade Putters so these could be a great surprise. mrlongball
Would love to see the milled face come to Canada/USA....Turns out these are so expensive to make that TM over here isnt gonna touch it, so I hear. Amsterdamed
Turns out these are so expensive to make that TM over here isnt gonna touch it, so I hear. Must be the case. And TM knows that outside of Asia almost nobody is going to drop around $800 for one of their putters. Doesn't matter how exclusive it might be. Driver: Cleveland Classic 290 9.0 - Miyazaki C. whiskey golf
The putter looks okay in my opinion, but am I the only one who thinks that the combination of the lion, green, and yellow is similar to the MGM Grand Hotel?

mrlongball
I believe its the milling process and materials....Justin Rose was actually playing with a version for a while. ..Like it was said, the number of people who will spend that amt of $ on a putter will take a Scotty or Betti etc..over TM that has no street cred.... apprenti23
That's what I figured - no different than any other milling I've seen in the past- just looks like a production TMAG putter with a skim milled face to me!

And honestly, that putter looks like it has the same face milling design and depth as my Scotty Cameron Studio Design 1 from 2001. and I bought my Putter for a whole $700 less then that one is expected to be. Don't get me wrong though, because that doesn't mean I wouldn't buy one if I had the money or the opportunity to do so. cheers. What's in my red Sun Mountain Swift X stand bag...
