Just downloaded the Lite version and it looks pretty cool. I'd have to get on the course and see what it does to the battery life of my phone before I would consider switching from a dedicated GPS.

 

As for my initial impression though, it's got to be one of, if not the best, looking GPS apps I've seen on a phone. The hole views are pretty amazing and with the bigger screen of my phone seems very easy to read.

 

This one could deserve some additional testing. Plus at $20 it's not going to break the bank.

First tick - available in NZ. I've downloaded the trial version so will gove this a test. Have had a little play and looks great - fantastice to be able to do a fly-over or view in 2D if you don't like the 3D. As Hckymeyer noted, the real test is going to be on battery life - but so far this looks really good. I actually prefer the 3D maps to the satellite images - I had a look through some of the holes at one of my regular courses and it looks pretty accurate (which I'd expect).

This is a sweet app. Great job creating it. The 3D view is awesome. Our app is for iphone/ipad for right now. It is a GPS app that automatically calculates where you should aim based on wind speed/direction and elevation change.

Interesting. $19.99 for the full version. Like that the interface is very easy to use. Curious to see if the round tracking can compete with the golfshot app though...

I downloaded the lite version to see if it had the new green locations on my home course and it would not show me any of them so I am deleting it, I ain't gonna spend money if it is not current,
