fozcycle
A friend of mine is 5' 4" hunched over because his spine has been fused his entire adult life. He would be 5' 9" if he could stand up. At 57, he can't seem to swing the new drivers.....the Swing Speed is less than what he gets from an TMAG R7 Tour 430. he recently tried several new drivers on a LM and all of them registered less than his 69-70 SS for his R7. The only club that was faster was a 3 wood with the smaller head.......So he has a Cobra SZ400 and wants to put a Senior Shaft in it. Does anybody know what the Tip size is for the SZ400 head? I don't know about that specific head, but I have had a few Cobras and they've all been .335. Follow @GolfspyBones

hckymeyer
Couldn't find a definitive answer, but most references I found assumed it would be a .335 tip. Worst case is that if you get a .335 shaft and it ends up being .350 you can always shim it. hckymeyer
That is .335 inches.....right? Honestly I never actually thought about what unit of measurement that was in. I always assumed inches, but I never bothered to actually find out. Everyone just sells them as .335 or .350 for woods. I was however able to find a nice link that lists a bunch of tip sizes for popular (and some not so popular) woods. It looks like your sz400 should indeed by .335.
