Hey welcome aboard from someone in New Mexico as well! I've never found a forum with more respect for each other than this one. I've gotten so tired of the whining and personal attacks you see on other sites, I don't even waste time on them. You'll enjoy this one.

I put a gouge in my 6i hitting a shot out of a fairway bunker on a rock just under the surface in front of the ball I couldn't see. Other than that, it was in good condition and a fun course. For as nice as the rest of the course is, the bunkers are a disappointment. I used my 60* with less bounce than my 56* because it was just about like hitting off hardpan. I did OK once I figured that out after my first attempt that skipped the club into the ball.
