Went out and played Torrey Pines north course last week during the rain, only drenched us first three holes then it was perfect golf after that! shot a 91 which is one better than previous best there so progress is being made!

 

6th hole: par 3 160yds down hill into the wind, reached then four putted for a 5!

 

14th green: par 5 made par with GIR

 

17th par 3 chunked tee saved bogey. damn near dark at this point

had the opportunity to play at Chambers Bay at the beginning of the golf season. The course hosted the 2010 US Junior Amateurs and will host the 2015 US Open. Really happy I got the chance to play it, hopefully I'll make my way down there again in 2014 but here are some photos from the round! It's going to be really interesting to see how the pros tackle the course in 2015, they have all of the tee boxes ready and standing from where the pros will play from just scares me, haha!

I love golf course photos, and I know they're hard to take, because I've taken hundreds and have about 5 I'm happy with.  I have two from a trip I made to southwest Ireland in 2006.  The first photo is the par-3 4th hole at Waterville, taken from on top of a dune to the right of the tees.  The second is the par-4 17th at Tralee.

Great photos, and good looking follow through by the lady.  I'll be in Hawaii in September, a week on Oahu and a week on Kauai.  Where were these photos taken? Looks like a great course.

What happened?

One of the prettiest golf holes that I have ever played, the par 3 13th at Trump National Westchester in upstate NY.  The hole plays from about 130 when the tees are up and close to 230 from the back tees.  The rumored cost of the hole from some credible sources was in the $7 million range.  Another cool feature is that the 14th tee is up on top of the waterfall and looks down on the 13th green.
