MBP, right now it has a white IOmic grip (if you'd like I will still take a picture) on it but, just waiting as Gene has some of the new Bestgrip baseball grip in white with his logo coming. This will be the grip that will stay on it  :)

Tried to figure out a way to explain the guilloche engraving but it is way beyond my paygrade lol so I have this link for the explanation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guilloch%C3%A9 there are only 10 of the machines in the world (rose lathe) and they are not made anymore. Gene owns two of them! It is a whole different world as far as roll, feel and precision this way.

If you come out here, you will be able to try it. Might be a chance of me coming out there as well.

Looking forward to getting this grip, it will look very nice with the putter. You've seen an IOmic grip before so... with winter approaching, I'm thinking taking pictures of all 23 of them and do a "what's in the rack".

I love seeing pictures of putters!

Not certain if people are interested in how Guilloche engraving is done, but it is a pretty sharp process I think.:
This machine is hand cranked and it takes multiple passes to make one groove, you cannot cut it all at once. Just to make one line is normally 5 or 6 cuts. The art to this is figuring out how deep to cut at each stage, and the amount of pressure to use.
After a cut is made you offset the pattern bar and move the tool over the distance that you have predetermined, and start the process over. This can be done on any kind of material that can be dreamed up.
