Right off the bat you can tell the baseball glove leather is high end. It looks good, feels good and sitting in the house smells good; like really good. It's lining is amazingly super soft to the touch. I'm not quite sure what this material is but sources close to me say that BestGrips has been experimenting with space age materials of late.

Since the introduction of embroidery and Stitch Works from BestGrips things have exploded. You can now order pretty much any of their products with your own custom designs. I found no imperfections in my cover and with the collection of BG products I own I would assume this to just be par for the course.


Cool



Let's face it: Custom handmade leather, custom personalized stitching, eye catching looks and Made in the USA. These things are cool. Flipping the cover over will also expose it's almost suede feel underbelly which just adds to the coolness factor. All for $65 which is cheaper than a lot of other leather products out there.

This is the first of what I'm dubbing "Speed Reviews" - Short, Sweet and Sassy.

Love the short review format! The stitch-quality is awesome. I'm gonna have to think about what to put on a driver shoe for Bestgrips to do some work on.

The material used as a liner is made from a baby grade fabric (same with the puttershoes). Also, all of the threads are a special blend that is resistant to UV rays. The baseball glove leather is the true key to the quality of both the stitching and the overall 'shoe.

 

While the leather comes in only tan and black, the embroidery allows us to add any color you want to it. Because leather is so porous and absorbs, bright colors are almost without a doubt painted (unless you use designer house leathers which are $$$$$). The paint will wear off very quickly with use. Our products are all designed to be used for decades, painted leather and white leather never seem to pass the 3 week test.

Just wanted to give you an update on the fairway shoe. Played several rounds in the South Texas AND Las Vegas HEAT. NO COLOR FADING AT ALL !!!!!

Man I forgot why I deemed them Speed Reviews. I've definitely migrated to the moderately fast reviews

 

Anyways a follow up to the durability of the Best Grips Drivershoes. This thing literally looks as good as the day I got it and it's been going for over a year.
