It's finally time to share an announcement I've been dying to make for months now. The Bogey Ball Society golf podcast has launched!  @GolfSpy SAM, @GolfSpy_BOS, @GolfSpy_KFT and I have joined together in a sort of passion project of ours and just published the first two episodes.

The concept is a simple one:  we're all middle-aged husbands, fathers, full-time professionals, and golf-aholics who are juggling all those responsibilities while simultaneously seeking to improve our games and lower our handicaps. We talk about our challenges, our goals, our offseason plans, equipment, expectations on the homefront, all while BSing among friends.  Along the way we'll have some AMAZING guests.  We've recorded 7 episodes already, 3 of them with guests, and I can promise you they are extremely entertaining and informative!

DISCLAIMER:  Bogey Ball Society is NOT a MyGolfSpy Forum podcast.  Think of it as four of the mods deciding to get together after work to do a podcast.  That said, we're definitely capitalizing on our connections to bring guests to the podcast, and we also absolutely reference the forum throughout our conversations.

The podcast is live right now on Spotify, Amazon, and every major podcast directory except Apple...they take a few more business days than the others to approve content...so think of this as a "soft open" launch.  Once it is available on Apple as well, I'll be posting a new blog entry for each episode as they roll out to get your reactions, feedback, and follow-on conversation.  So, go ahead and search for "Bogey Ball Society" on Spotify or Amazon now if that's what you use, and enjoy.  You can also take it in via YouTube:

I was very “nobled” when I heard about the new podcast.  
 

Listened to both and enjoyed the interactions and camaraderie between everyone.  For me it’s much better than any of the big podcast in this genre.  Maybe it’s because I know a few of them personally from the MGS outing and consider them friends.  the interaction were genuine and felt like an MGS outing or a community call…laid back and just a few guys sharing their thoughts about golf.   
 

looking forward to more episodes.

Congrats gents on getting this up and rolling!! And who would've thought .. def not me at first .. that Hayes would be the funny one! 😉 Satire, couple of references to Seinfeld episodes, witty reparté, ... Matt and Bryan did get in a few good ones, and Jason you did an excellent job playing the straight man - every comedy team needs one! 🤣

No seriously guys I'm not a podcast consumer but knowing who y'all are makes it way more interesting and entertaining .. looking forward to more! 👍

I look forward to adding this to my list of podcasts that I intend to start listening to, and then eventually get too far behind but still listen to intermittent episodes of from time to time when I remember I have a podcast list to go into on an app.

At least if I sub on YT it'll get fed into my algorithm better, so consider me sub number 17!

Once we get the green light from Apple (literally any day/hour/minute now) we'll push episode 3.  If we're able to do that before Thanksgiving, then episode 4 will follow the week after Thanksgiving.

I know I'm building a lot of suspense, but we're proud of these first two episodes that are out on Spotify and others right now. Episode 3 is another good one.  Episodes 4 & 5?  Freaking GOLD.

Hey all! Wanted you to be the first to see our new, updated logo!  The first two episodes on YouTube will still have the old logo, but going forward, this is our new (and I think vastly improved) logo. 

Thoughts??
