Timerstone Golf Course
This course in Iron Mountain is a beautiful course that is cut into the side of a ski hill in the lower portion of the UP. That being said, the course is tight (especially for a hack like me) and you'll be penalized if you're not straight off the tee. There are some tiered greens and some significant undulations in some of the greens that make it a lot different from what I'm used to. The 17th and 18th holes are the signature holes and have some major elevation change and give some great views. Clubhouse and practice areas small, but well maintained and serve their purpose. Stay and play packages are offered, making this a nice and easy one stop shop for a great outing.
I'd definitely recommend if you're in the area!
