Good Friday morning! Working on some things at home today while we have a giant hole in the house. Door is being installed for the new deck and the rest of the family is heading to SandFest. Sucks I don't get to go, but we are all super excited about the new deck and family time we will spend on it. Rain forecasted all weekend so we will see if the weatherman is right. Have a great day and hopefully golf is in your forecast.

Good morning Spies on a cool and wet Friday morning here in the Motor City. At work and will be another long day here for me, but those will be ending shortly. Supposed to be colder and cloudy on Saturday, so I may head to Carl's for their range facilities rather than the one closer to the house. Sunny on Sunday and about 50 degrees, so I will get a round in then. Hope that your day is the best it can be, and that something enjoyable may be in your plans.

Good morning MGSpies from the calm before the rains start again early on this Friday in WNY where the coffee is almost ready and work computer is going onto the network from the zero commute to underground central where I'm having the same kind of start Jason @sirchunksalot had and I don't know why the delay in getting started either, but community call was awesome yesterday with holes 3 through 9 shared from my phone camera (just not so good on keeping up with all of the discussion but I manage) and today I'm going to have a new experience getting a club fitting, heard lots about them but my first so hold me down!! Good morning all! Was cool and cloudy yesterday, but thankfully today should be a bit warmer as I get to out for my first round this afternoon. Also my brother-in-law should be stopping in today which was a nice surprise to find out about. He is usually pretty busy and lives about 2.5 hours away so visiting can be tough. Good morning spies and TGIF! Not much to report here, day of work followed by an away soccer match for my daughter. It will be a long day but totally worth it. My local golf retailer has their Spring Tent Sale this weekend so I’ll have to be sure to stop in and see if I NEED anything. I’d like to find a new pair of shoes and maybe some Vice Pro balls depending on what deals they have. Also need to look at hybrids for my wife. Good morning everyone! I slightly overslept this morning and I didn't know why. I still made it in plenty of time since I get to work insanely early. I'm just glad it's Friday and I have plans to play tomorrow. It's going to be wet as we have some storms coming in today. I hope all of you have a wonderful start to your weekend!

Good morning my spies… It is Friday the departure day to hopefully a destination weekend ahead for you all. Busy day for me yesterday. Got to play Randy Radical and rage at the man… The Tax Man… As we all know there is very limited positivity in having me live in my subdivision… I only come in handy to the neighborhood twice a year.. Yesterday was one of those times. The reappraisal people hit the neighborhood only to find me outside on my lawn shaking my fist at the sky and losing an argument with myself. Pretty sure that was quite possibly the deciding factor in pushing the tax people to decided in favor of the tax protest filed by myself and some neighbors…. We will see what the decision on my protest is today. In other news of the day; the wife person wants to leave today for our “ couple’s special time “ I was under the impression this was only suppose to be ONE day of hell. Evidently, her high highness has some side excursions planned before going to the big event.. By all that is merciful, hoping I am able to survive and join you all on Sunday evening. If not, take care of yourselves and remember…..Perspective my friends, perspective…… edited to add: Good luck to @EnderinAZ with the medical procedure.

Morning one and all...still rainy and cool here in Ottawa. Today is hopefully "fix Jean's measuring mistake while putting up the projector for the sim" day. When measuring for projector placement, I *may* have forgotten to measure my driver swing...and finding out I come to withing 2" of the projector when I swing the boom stick. The result: moving the projector 3' closer to the screen today, just to be safe. 14'. With my best friend in a ladder (I have vertigo). But dang if GSPro + Optoma GT2100HDR + Carl's Premium hitting screen combo look incredible!

4am but a good start to the day. Had some pancakes and coffee now off to work for what will be a very long, but I hope fun day.

Working from home today, little one came down with strept…again! Have a tee time tomorrow morning I’m looking forward to. Hope everyone has a good day!

Morning All, Drinking some coffee and eating some breakfast this morning. Here in about 30 minutes I start my prep for my cat scan on my stomach and pelvis. I’ll probably going o tell me I am full of…all jokes aside, in Florida I was told I had diverticulosis. The docs here said the symptoms don’t point towards that at all. Like not even close. So away we go for that adventure. Later we are getting mulch for our house to help with numerous projects around the property. Hope everyone has a great day.

FRY DAY !! Wife is headed to Nantucket for the weekend; kid comes back from Greece late Saturday night.... guess I'll be going to the golf store to get one of those reverse taper GP putter grips and off to the range for a bit. Round booked for Saturday afternoon... hoping the weather cooperates. A bit of a lull in the sports schedule so I should probably finish up the yardwork I've been putting off. Good morning MGS crew and happy Friday! Heading out for Vortex HQ at 8am and gonna need ALL the caffeine. Our oldest came down with another cold and was coughing all night last night. Not much sleep for my wife and I. Hoping the little guy feels okay today. Still sleeping as of now. The boys were supposed to go to my parents house tonight for a sleepover as my wife and I both have work conferences tomorrow. She is leaving today and me very early tomorrow. But if he’s still not doing well, my dad is gonna crash with us tonight so they can sleep at home. He’s had pneumonia in the past and it’s always come on the heels of a cold, so overnights when he’s sick always make me leery. Fingers crossed he’s doing better today. Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning spies! Up early-early and downing a coffee as we are set to hit the road for a 'quick' Vegas turnaround. It is the Fiancé's aunts birthday so we are going to pick her up and bring her back for the weekend. Another member of her family is supposed to take her back Monday and I am hoping they don't back out because I reallyyyyy hate this drive through vast nothingness. So with that I am off on another 10 hour adventure where the road will claim my soul. I hope you all enjoy the start to your weekends and may the cards be flush in your decks this weekend! Good morning everyone.. Looks like a "practice with a purpose" day for me today. I will go through all my practice sessions I have developed over the past 8 years with all my clubs except the driver and 3 wood as the range is irons only today. Then after my practice I head to my daughters to start a weekend celebration with my 8 year old grandson. Pizza, sleep over, then a wonderful classic movie "Godzilla and Kong" I can hardly wait ( sarcasm) I enjoy seeing my little guy through a 65 year old lease, (oh to be 8 again) he is a great kid so there is that... I hope all the spy's that are challenged with medical issues feel better, and try and find some time to enjoy the weekend...

Good morning spies, or afternoon as it is here now. Was up early so managed to get a round in, and what a round it was! I was gross 1 over after 9 and managed to finish 18 at 5 over. My best ever round. Could have been better but got stuck behind a few groups so was stood around waiting to play shots and lost my rhythm a bit. Only missed 1 fairway all day and the putter was on fire! Hope you all have a great day and enjoy your weekend. Unfortunately for me I’m on duty all weekend

Good morning! More rain last night but looking better this morning. High temp going to be in the 50s but sunny. And windy. I used to play a lot with a single-figure hcp who would not play if the winds got above about 15 mpn ("Even the pros won't play or practice in this wind!"). Got to thinking about that this morning and wondering how y'all feel about it. What is your wind cutoff, either sustained or gusts? Have great day and fantastic weekend!

Thanks, I wish I could bottle it! After reading the comments on the site yesterday about an easy swing rather than trying to really hit the ball I deliberately slowed down my swing today and what a difference! Yeh I was losing a little bit of distance but it just meant that I was hitting an extra club into greens at times. That being said the irons were flying a lot better too with a slower swing so the effect was negligible really. Just need to make sure I stick with the slower swing moving forward as the improvement in ball striking is fantastic

Good morning! Heading out shortly to go play 27 today and 27 tomorrow with 6 buddies for a mini-golf trip up in the Dubuque area. Opening up today with 9 at Fillmore, then 18 at the Meadows. Playing 18 and 9 at Lacoma in East Dubuque tomorrow morning. Should be an awesome time, even with the high being 52 tomorrow with 25 mph winds the entire duration. We fortunately have a physical therapist at my office. She gave me some stretches and exercises to help. It felt better all day so I’m taking that as a positive! My son had a blast on the mower tonight. He put on his ear muffs and glasses and said “let’s do this” with two thumbs up!

Good morning! A lot to do at work today. I don't know why people always wait to request information from us until Fridays. It really makes for a stressful end to the week. On a positive note, the sun is out and the rain from the downpour all night is drying up quickly. I may be able to get a round in this weekend if I'm able to finish things for work today. It hit my F-I-L pretty hard for a couple of weeks when he retired. Good morning Spies and Happy Friday. Weekend is almost here and I may actually get to hit a golf ball in normal weather this weekend. For the first time this spring it won't be freezing with 30 mph winds. Now to just get through one more work day and relaxation can begin.

Have done the coffee with Butch a few times in his facility at Rio, highly recommend if you can swing it.

@Dead Solid Bogey Thanks. No coffee, no water, no food, get to shower with this nasty soap that kind of burns off the first layer or so of skin, and no you don't use it there. All in preparation for my date with the doctor and his scalpel later this morning. But it could mean I am golfing in a week or so. For now, I am going to be happy with pain-free walks in the heat of the sunny weekend days. Supposed to reach near 100 on Sunday! Hope everyone has a great weekend

Good morning Spies and TGIF! Should be a pretty low-key day with no plans on the agenda. Weather is looking decent with temps reaching the high 50s with some sun. Tomorrow morning looking a bit chilly for my golf round, but I'll just be happy to get out there. Was able to catch a bit of the RBC Heritage and the Chevron Championship yesterday. Nelly finished birdie-birdie on last two holes to shoot a solid -4 for her first round. She has gone from +550 odds to win the tournament before it started to +210 odds now (she's 3 back from the leader!) Hope everyone has a great Friday!

Good morning Spies, Happy Friday! Today my coach assigned a 5 mile run. Hopefully the weather will remain cooperative. I have not run that distance in over 35 years. After finishing my second cuppa I’ll stretch and hit the road. Looking forward to it. Not much on tap otherwise. Wishing all a wonderful day!

Funny thing is, I think my favorite is their (relatively) inexpensive crossbow scope I have on my Excalibur. The way it set up POA/POI based on a "speed" dial for your arrow speed works amazing and makes precision from a tree stand much more repeatable. And, yeah, the lifetime warranty doesn't suck.

I can't wait Derek! I'm actually planning to get a round in Saturday with some guys from work and it's going to be great to be out on the course after a couple of less than stellar weekends. When though I haven't seeing a club in a couple of weeks, I'm planning on having a good time and not being overly concerned on what I shoot, I just want to play.

Another great call with a lot of discussion and topics covered. Another week with a lot of participation, 26 members on at various times all providing questions or answers through both the call itself and chat feature. Pretty cool for me to see Derek @EasyPutter on the course, especially since I was still at work and could only hope for that opportunity today. @Cfhandyman great video, I watched it after getting home, and thanks for providing some insight into the whole production during the Community Call. Already looking forward to next week's call with the yet to be announced guest.

Good morning! I almost forgot to post in the forum this morning! Woke up a little later than usual, had a busy start to the morning, and now that the morning has slowed down, I recognized that I forgot to post. Anyways, today looks like a gorgeous day here in Iowa. High 50s with sunny skies. Similar weather this weekend which means multiple chances to golf. We have a 4 day weekend as well, so I have golf scheduled for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Can't wait to get out and play soon. For everyone who gets out and plays today or this weekend, I hope the scores are low and the vibes are high! Have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend!
