  3. Went shopping w SWMBO and there was a sale Calloway golf shoes, they looked lonely so had to bring them home. SWMBO has a new pair also, a new pair sneakers. Everything 50% off and a 10% Senior discount. Is this a great country or what! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  4. ... Not "that guy" at all. Just a smart consumer making a common sense decision. It's not like you are bringing in your Embroidered Staff Bag to see how the colors match your cart.

  6. when i picked up the push cart a few weeks ago, i loved it because i really enjoyed walking my rounds. but i was a little underwhelmed by how it performed because my stand bag (super old Porsche bag that they threw in with the purchase when my pops bought his car) kind of sucked on it. once i strapped the ogio in to place it was like that scene in a movie where the heavens part and you hear the angels sing.

  9. My BIL use to mess with phone solicitors... considered it a hobby of sorts . I recall years ago when we were all together and one came in, he had the entire family in stitches for close to a 1/2 hour listening to him and the caller on speaker phone.

  10. basic frame using roll stock cores for vertical, laminated cross beams, and corrugated sleeves for spacers. the CAD 3D shows only one side attached. This is the basic frame concept. Have some pieces cut as well to take home and play around with .

  16. I always start searching at GolfEtail. They offer real good prices on the last year or two's stuff that is still new. Right now a TaylorMade M5 5 wood new for $199.00 Regular flex or the 3 wood in stiff flex. Srixon Z F65 for $89.00.

  17. Yes, I have the X-Caliber 75 gram Rapid Taper shaft in the 4 iron. Playing out to 39.75" with the Cobra Connect grip. Solid, although the 75g shaft feels a little light. It launches very high, which isn't necessarily what I wanted out of that spot. But it's incredibly forgiving. Based on some range numbers it's probably a 210+ club off the tee. Haven't tried it off the deck yet, it's not something I'd probably ever try. I'm interested in demoing the Cobra Utility. Probably a little more purpose built than my Frankenstein 4 iron.

  18. It’s already been noted here that Bob wants the best for the testers here, and it turns out he’s a pretty cool guy too. Figured I’d drop this in the testing thread but he saw a photo of my oldest son rocking a SQAIRZ hat and wanted to send over a few more for him and his brother. Got quite a nice package in the mail today. The boys were pumped! On a testing note I’d be real interested to see how these fair on the comfort/cushioning department. I love walking in my Adidas Tour360 XT. And the Footjoy SL Pros before that. Also, I’d love to hear how stab

  19. ... I am not really contemplating a change, although ya never know. This is the first year I did not want to tinker. I have just been a big fan of Cobra Tour irons through the years and wanted to get my hands on some and write a review for those that might be interested in them.

  21. Some of my favorite you tubes are the tech savvy guys that keep the scammer tech people on the phone, let them think they are accessing a bank acct and run them in circles asking questions while deleting files on the scammers computer. I am not that tech savvy so I just act real stupid asking questions and keep them on the phone while getting them frustrated.

  22. Here’s the full MFL announcement: https://www03.myfantasyleague.com/2020/site_news?CATEGORY=Commissioner News The key takeaways are 1) Wednesday counts if it happens and 2) waivers run roughly 2 hours after the completion of that game.

  23. ... Thanks. I rarely take loft into consideration when writing reviews, at least for comparison to other irons. These are 1* apart so that may or may not make any difference. For me and hopefully my readers, it is always about performance and having the proper gaps which can mean some loft changes with my wedges but I never know until I play them. That said I am very familiar with Cobra's Tour iron offerings having played the last 3 versions including Amp Forged, Fly Z+ and Forged Tours so I have a good idea what my gapping should be with the King Tour MIM irons.

  24. ... I should have a set of King Tour irons to review in the next month. I will be in Phoenix by then and can put them through some serious daily on course testing. They will have their work cut out for them as I have never entered a new season with irons I had zero intention of replacing like my T100-S. I feel like I have them completely dialed in and am looking forward to seeing how they play on hard, fast desert greens that require tour level spin. Then a comparison review to the King Tour's should be completed in one to two months.

  25. hey! who asked you?! cart bag is for up here, but you’re not totally wrong. my plan was to go slow and look for deals, but i really can’t ignore the deals i’m finding on the WRX classified forums. i’ve got a driver and 3w so far and i’ve spent about $400. i’m on the hunt for a set of irons for around $300 now. the shafts are for tinkering this winter. whatever doesn’t work will go back out for sale. maybe you’re right - i think i’ve got a problem

  27. YES!! Much better takeaway! Now the club is coming from the inside, and look at your followthrough; you've rotated so the club finishes over your left shoulder instead of straight up holding the face open. Compare with your other videos.

  31. I like the After! Nice change. More rotation and shallower. It looks like what I think my wedge shots look like, but I've never videoed it so I could be waaay off from reality. Man o' Man is your turf different than mine!! As long as it's not wet, I can hit 10 shots like yours and not see any dirt.

  32. For flex you are correct. Torque isn’t measured the same across the various companies. Look at PX website at the Hzrdus line and look at titleist website and you will see different specs because titleist measures differently than PX does. Its why getting fit for a shaft imo is important

  33. Still thinking about this Hybrid and options I could try out. Cody, did you ever get to installing a graphite shaft in the speedzone 4 iron? I have to get myself to somewhere I can test out the utility.. but a YouTube video got me thinking about potentially using a Speedzone 7-wood in that slot. Maybe shortened a half inch or so depending on where the gapping worked out. I’d just be curious to see if the stopping power was still there. Thinking that might be a viable option since I love the 5-wood and feel comfortable hitting a draw or fade with it. We shall see. But

  37. I don't know Stu. I think the courses down here are going to be hurting this winter without the Canadians coming down. I don't have to tell you how many we usually get... With the virus getting bad down here, I'm assuming we'll be getting about the same amount of snowbirds from the U.S. but who knows? It's been a really bad year for local businesses...

  38. Some additional pictures from today: As you can see, the 2.0 version of the board is two pieces of what I'm guessing is molded 1/4" ABS plastic, joined with two thumbscrews and wing nuts with slots for adjustment. From a purely looks standpoint, replacing the sticker (which isn't applied perfectly straight anyway) with a laser-etched logo would going a long way toward making the board more professional and premium. I've been messing around with 9-to-3 swings in the basement using the board. It's a nice reminder to rotate and not sway. This is something I'm work

  39. Thank goodness my nose for illicit stuff is decent because my day got even worse - had to run over to my in-laws quickly and discovered my wife's mother on the phone with "HP Support" to help with her new printer. She put something on the scanner bed and I asked what she was doing while she was on speakerphone with support... it was her ID and a check for $400. The scammers had full control over her laptop because as soon as I tried to shut things down they kept opening them and trying to type things on the screen at me. I pulled the plug on their router hopefully before they remotely scanned

  40. I am starting to look for a 15 - 17 degree fairway wood. The spousal unit took custody of the RBZ 13* after trying it a couple weeks ago and the 17* i20 Ping hybrid I use is ballooning too often. I recently hit my 1980's staff 5W during a classic club round and liked the ball flight a lot better than the i20. I'd play the old 5w but its about 25 yards short, so the search begins. I should start in the club barrel out in the shed and see what heads & shafts have collected there that I have forgot about.

  43. One thing I learned a while back from a shoe rep. If any shoe needs "breaking in" it's the wrong shoe for you or possibly even just a bad shoe. A shoe should feel great right out of the box. I began experiencing that with Ecco--I wore them as dress shoes long before the were a thing in golf. And I judge all shoes by that now, if it doesn't feel great the moment I put it on, I move on. It's also one of the reasons shoes are something I hardly every buy online. As we all like to think we are unique, my feet really are, it seems they are 1/2 size different than each other So
