My first week is finished! It has been enjoyable to do the sessions. Gotta say something about the dynamic warm-up, it's awesome! I came home from work today feeling like swinging a club would be miserable. Ever have one of those days where you were so sore it felt like even your hair was hurting? Yeah...that's kind of how I felt. Going to buy new clubs yesterday took a lot of swinging and I was feeling it today. I'm hitting the course tomorrow and then I'll crunch some numbers to give to y'all. I plan on taking the radar to get some on course numbers, along with some Arccos stats. Can't wait to put the new Cobras in play. Sent from my SM-G955U using MyGolfSpy mobile app6 points -
Not buying a car but car related. Finally decided that I don’t really need a warranty on my toy...so it gets dropped off tomorrow for a rework on the blower, new injectors, long tube headers, full exhaust and a new tune. Nothing less than 925 rwhp will be acceptable. Should run just over 10 seconds at the track. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy5 points

I'll be going out today getting some time in on the course and I can't wait. It's probably going to take a bit of getting used to since my old irons are older than some of the guys that I work with. Today's just going to be for fun, but I'll at least get a baseline of what these bad boys will do. My local driving range doesn't have yardages right, they constantly move the tee boxes up and back. Arccos will definitely help me learn my distances. A quick shout out to them, by the way. Once I got them set up I noticed that the course I play most wasn't in their system. Shot them an email on Thursday and they got back to me the next day saying to get them the course info and they would take care of it. That's phenomenal customer service. I was able to get my first round in with these irons and I've got to say, they're amazing. They just feel so pure when you hit them well. I didn't play well at all, but I told my wife that it's the most fun I've had playing so bad. The distance gains are something else. My longest 7 iron went 157. I didn't do that often, I was in the rough way too much from the tee, and it was some fluffy rough. I did hit a great flop shot from about 20 yards to a foot. The Arccos system is awesome and I didn't have the issues with the battery draining that some people have brought up. I ended with 64% battery using my Galaxy s8 plus. The only issue I had was with it not picking up putts. I had to manually input all but three of them. I even held the putter still for a couple of seconds before the shot as is recommended by the Arccos site. I ended up shooting a 106, which is on par for my game. Guess I should have put in some range time, but I really wanted to get them on the course. The irons weren't the issue so much it was the driver. Looking at my stats, I'm actually surprised that Arccos didn't send a signal to my phone and my clubs and set them on fire, send someone to give me a refund, and let me know that I'm not allowed near a golf course ever again. But that's my sense of humor. I'm really satisfied with my purchase of the Cobras, I can't say enough good about them. Sent from my SM-G955U using MyGolfSpy mobile app2 points -

Played my first 18 hole round in nearly 6 weeks and my first round in a month. 40/37 for a plus 5 77. Even on the back though. Was fighting a case of the lefts for most of the day but putted like a nutcase on the back nine. 5 straight one putt holes, only 13 putts total on that side for 2 birdies, the two bogeys were lip outs. Short game was on point for the most part, driving was a bit of an adventure but with colder temps (mid 50's) I was good because it wasn't flying that far anyway. Good as I prep to potentially close my season on Tuesday2 points -

Played poorly, 8 over after 6, 5 over the last 12. Strange round, most of my dropped shots were driver or short game related, my normal strengths. Irons were mostly solid. Really not disappointed, it was a beautiful day, mid 70s, only a 1 1/2 club breeze. Wore shorts for the first time since April and enjoyed a few beers during the round with good mates. All up a very enjoyable day despite the poor golf.2 points -

Honestly because of the fitting it is much easier but I hit the 4-7 iron were amazing but the 8-GW were giving me trouble but I think it will get better I mean every shot was right at the pin but short sometimes but silver lining is I chipped in for birdie with the one length gap wedge!!! Week 1 is in the books! As a reminder the lightest club (Green for me) is about 20% lighter than my driver, Blue = 10% lighter, and Red = 5% heavier. I'm not going to measure my driver swing speed every week, but at the start it maxed out at 104. It's definitely taking me some time to get used to swinging left handed. I've messed around with a friend's left handed clubs before, but never tried to swing them for speed. I also wore my heart rate chest strap monitor to see what type of fitness benefits this may bring. The warmup took 7 minutes and burned approximately 50 calories. The actual swing protocol took an additional 8 minutes and burned about 100 calories. 15 minutes of work to burn 150 calories isn't going to make anyone lose a massive amount of weight, but it's definitely more healthy than sitting in the bar doing 12 ounce curls.2 points

Well I am honestly in unbelievable shock right now. Cobra really surprised me with the clubs!!!! I really wanted to try one length and that is what I did with the Cobra fitter. It was the best fitting I have ever had and I have had quite a few fittings. The fitter and I discussed my weak points including my limited practice time, my hectic Navy schedule, and my curiosity with One Length clubs. I literally hit every shaft that was available and wouldn't you know it...the Cobra Forged Tech One Length were absolutely perfect for me. In general I am looking for consistency, proper gapping between clubs, simplifying my golf swings, improving my accuracy, and hitting my approach shots closer to the hole. I have no doubt that these clubs will do it. The technology in these clubs is unreal!!!! I didn't think that Cobra was sending these...honestly the F8 one length just didn't work even though I wanted them to...so I was truly expecting variable length F8s but some companies go the extra mile for even the average golfer...and the company at the top of that list is Cobra Golf!!!!!! It took me three hours to finally take the plastic off...these things are sexy...the clubs are built perfectly to my specifications and even the shaft logos are lined up perfectly...attention to detail is important and Cobra delivers. Don't be surprised if my entire bag is Cobra before the end of the year. Top quality professionally fitted equipment belongs in every golfers bag and if you want the best then take a hard look at Cobra Golf!!!! I am freaking pumped up!!!!2 points -

Dear Cobra Golf, I want to thank you for choosing to put your clubs up for an official review here on My Golf Spy. You chose some excellent testers, they gave knowledgeable reviews and were excellent brand ambassadors. So much so, that I went out today and bought a set of your F8 irons. I demoed several sets and you almost lost it to another brand. Performance was very, very close. I had to try three different shafts before settling on the xp90. But, do you know what gave you the edge? The rave reviews here on this forum. I'm looking forward to improving my game with Cobra Golf and Arccos. Thank you. First time out with the new iron shafts (Project X Blue Graphite 6.0). Really needed a range session, but tonight is their weekly range cleaning, so II played as a single for 9 dead cold...no warm-up… Shot my best ever round of 9 with a 44! Wasn't super hot to start w/o the warm-ups, but basically kept it at the "bogie golf" status quo. +9 with 2 pars, 6 bogies and 1 double that was putted to 2" of the cup... Actually made a couple of good putts with one for par that had to have been 35' or so. Felt real nice! No birds of course but no huge mistakes either. Irons feel...well, different, but overall. I can see them coming in with time since the shots I used them on seemed to go much straighter than with the old R-Flex shafts. Time will tell...2 points -

I finished Week 1 Session 3 today. I start Week 2 Session 1 on Sunday, so I have a couple days off. I'm stoked about the change since last Sunday. Speed is up for the light and middle club both right and left handed from 4-12 mph. The heavy club speed hasn't changed much. I am about 5 mph slower with my non-dominant hand.1 point

Congratulation Ethan. That's pretty cool seeing your tournament score sheet. Today we got a pleasant reprieve in weather. We played Old Works in Anaconda; likely for the last time in 2018. It was 39F driving over the continental divide into Butte with steady winds at 10+ mph. I was wearing a coat on the practice range and by about 9:00, the wind was dying down. We literally had the entire course to ourselves; pro shop told us the next tee time wasn't until 12:30. As the day went along, the weather just kept getting better. Aspens were in there full fall colors and it was really gorgeous. By the time we finished, it was 51F. OK, now for the round. I shot a 92 and my buddy shot a 94. I hit 14 of 16 fairways with my driver, and 3 of 4 par 3's!! They had just plugged the greens and that made putting a bit challenging - they were raked well, but quite bumpy. But what really cost me shooting my handicap was long irons shots; normally pretty reliable but suspect the Golf Gods had to take back something for the great driving they offered.1 point -

Didn't keep score today, but it would have been on the higher side. My goal of playing today was to increase my swing speed throughout the round. I watched my distances go up and up as I swung harder. I was doing as instructed I swung smooth all year and my ball striking became much better. Today I gradually increased my swing speed. I watched my smooth 3w go from 205 to 235. I also hit my 4i further than I ever have with multiple hit to 195 which is the farthest I ever have hit it. My ball striking did not deteriorate which made me happy. I putted well and the only real problem was with the increased speed on my first shot when increasing I would be a little erratic, but that didn't last long.1 point -
So not a club.. But for golf nonetheless.. When doing the Bridgestone wedge review I made some golf swing videos. Took my own videos with my phone and was a huge PITA. The videos however have really helped me improve my swing mechanics and tempo.. And fix some swing quirks too. Additionally I want to post some more approach videos in the Bridgestone review and in the event that I'm ever chosen again down the road, I'm set. I can control the camera remotely from about 100 ft away. Takes really clean vids and photos. Sent from my VS985 4G using MyGolfSpy mobile app1 point
