  1. Good morning Spies on a cool and wet Friday morning here in the Motor City. At work and will be another long day here for me, but those will be ending shortly. Supposed to be colder and cloudy on Saturday, so I may head to Carl's for their range facilities rather than the one closer to the house. Sunny on Sunday and about 50 degrees, so I will get a round in then. Hope that your day is the best it can be, and that something enjoyable may be in your plans.
  2. Happy Birthday @barney_bogey, @msanagustin, @juspoole, @rjacobs4, @Pauldonahueiii, @Sbarnold, and @DymnDog Hope your day is the best it possibly can be.
  3. Another great call with a lot of discussion and topics covered. Another week with a lot of participation, 26 members on at various times all providing questions or answers through both the call itself and chat feature. Pretty cool for me to see Derek @EasyPutter on the course, especially since I was still at work and could only hope for that opportunity today. @Cfhandyman great video, I watched it after getting home, and thanks for providing some insight into the whole production during the Community Call. Already looking forward to next week's call with the yet to be announced guest.
  4. Good morning Spies on this Community Call Thursday from the Motor City. Cool and cloudy now, but supposed to warm-up later as the day progresses. Want everyone here to know to wish @GolfSpy SAM a Happy Birthday today. Rumor has it he is turning 39 for the unknown time again today. Hoping to see many on the call later and hoping that your day is the best it can be, and that something enjoyable is in your plans.
  5. Happy Birthday @GolfSpy SAM, @KThompson, @ballplayer002003, @Andrew A, @G Ford, @Handy, @Toddlemm, and @Wagerst Hope your day is the best it possibly can be.
  6. @GolfSpy_BEN that is encouraging news on your Q10 testing front, and hopefully as the season unfolds the speed comes back and you find it capable of making your bag. It always seems to take some time to get acclimated to new tools or clubs, so patience is a virtue to have going forward.
  7. Welcome @Jessica Adams to one of the most popular threads on the MGS forum. Be sure to look around and join or participate in any other topic you choose. A lot of good information and people here on this forum.
  8. Good morning Spies on a cool and cloudy Michigan Wednesday. Rain moving in later, and may stick around for a few days, and the temperatures are back to more normal highs of mid to upper 50's. Practiced a bit on the practice green at the course close to my house yesterday evening, so hoping that keeps working for me out on the course. Normal workday for me, although the number of workdays left for me is dwindling fast. Finally was asked yesterday if I may be able to show another "how do you do that" knowing they will be on their own after the 30th. Hope that your day is the best it can be, and that something fun and enjoyable may be in your plans.
  9. Happy Birthday @Sam C, @RunReno, and @JoeGillis Hope your day is the best it possibly can be.
  10. @jbern and @Cfhandyman great introductions, and really looking forward to reading your thoughts on both the L.A.B. fitting process, and how they compare to those putters you currently both have been playing.
  11. Congratulations to this great group of testers. Knowing how much I really like this bag for both walking, push cart, and riding cart, looking forward to the comments and reviews.
  12. Congratulations to this great group of diverse testers. With all the forum love for the L.A.B. products, looking forward to your comments and reviews.
  13. Good morning Spies on a Tuesday which shows promise of sunshine and mid 60's temperatures here. Best wishes all goes well Jason, @sirchunksalot and you get everything under control. Practiced a bit last evening on the practice green at a course close to the house and hoping to do it again later this evening too. Hope that your day is the best it can be, and that something enjoyable is in your plans.
  14. Happy Birthday @FightingScot82, @cthoma11, and @Invader Zim 315 Hope your day is the best it possibly can be.
  15. Congrats. to the winners and THANK YOU to @Golfspy_CG2 for organizing these great events for the forum members.
  16. You will have to let us all know how your fitting went, and if the process met your expectations. Best of luck with that today!
  17. Good morning Spies on a back to work Monday, or day after the Masters here in Michigan. Did get out and get a round in yesterday, and then back home in time to see majority of the back 9 of the Masters. Another sunny and warm day here in the forecast, so hoping to get some real world practice putting in after work at the course close to home. Hope that your day is the best it possibly can be, and that something enjoyable is in your plans.
  18. Happy Birthday @Henri-Martin HORN and @aerospace_ray Hope your day is the best it can be.
  19. Sunshine, blue skies and mid 70's on a windy Masters Sunday here in the Motor City area. Had a tee time for early afternoon, with hopes that the course may not be too wet from all the recent rain, or too crowded with the Masters on tv. Went into the round with the goal of making smooth tempo swings, with a full finish. Knew that the wind would come into play on the holes which were more open or not surrounded by the woods. Irons were really good, distance control for the most part was good, did have a few miss greens in regulation due to wind conditions, or trees, but overall very good ball striking day. Shot of the day was a 4 iron into the wind from 188 yards, and made the birdie. Also rolled in a 15 footer on 18 that was hole high, just left of the flag for a second birdie. The only 3 putt was "excusable" as it was on a par 3 that was 185 to the front, 210 to the back hole location, and I hit a 4 iron and had about 80 feet to the hole and could not hit it hard enough to leave a tap-in. Temperatures next weekend look to be much colder, so hoping to at least get another round in provided the weather cooperates.
  20. Great review @Jmikecpa. Question as to how you think the Q10 compares to the TSR3 as far as any workability? Is the Q10 more fade biased than the standard neutral settings of a TSR3? Curious, as I use the TSR 3 due to being a left-handed person who plays golf right-handed and doesn't need any help turning it right to left.
  21. Burger cooked medium with Swiss cheese, tomato, and ketchup. Not a big fries person, so maybe some chips and a lemonade. Second alternative, the original Big Boy minus the lettuce. Had a late Aunt who made them at home with the "special sauce" as she knew the original recipe.
  22. Excellent reviews @GolfSpy_BEN and @Michael.Sandoval33 Michael, glad to hear that your experience with the Q10 Max has both improved your confidence level and improved your scores. Looking forward to hearing more lower scores as time progresses. Ben, will be interested in reading how the Q10 standard may suit you better than the LS version, and hope to hear that the LS model improved the findings for @IndyBonzo
  23. Good morning Spies on a soon to be sunny and mid 70's Masters Sunday from the Motor City. @Jean D your set-up looks very nicely done, and glad that it all worked out for you. Spent some time yesterday at the range, and also have a round scheduled for early afternoon today, Should be back home in time to watch the leaders play the back 9 at Augusta. Hope that your day is the best it can be, and that something fun and enjoyable is in your plans.
  24. Happy Birthday @Golfdots, @patrickosullivan88, and @Brutus14 Hope your day is the best it can be.
  25. No, scorecard yardage ranges from 139 - 183 depending upon tees played and their location. I typically use a Nikon range finder to get distance to the flag, and the Garmin watch typically matches the range finder reading. It is when I sync the watch AFTER the round that the shot distance is usually not what was shown initially or even where the ball ended up. Example: Range finder reads 156 yards, watch reads 155 - 158 yards, and when shown on Garmin Connect scorecard and hole layout it may measure 146 even if the ball was past the measured flag at the higher number.
