  1. Happy Birthday @TR1PTIK and @gspmjp Make your day the best it can be.
  2. Jason, @sirchunksalot hope they get it all sorted out and you get back to normal levels. Keep us updated. @RockerFCC cold, windy and rainy here all day in the Detroit area, supposed to be dry and warmer over the weekend though. Still spring in the mid-west, and the temperatures here are still riding the roller coaster.
  3. Good morniing Spies on a no commute, work from home wet Friday in the Motor City. Should be able to at least have the Masters playing in the background today, and it will be interesting to see if the scoring pace of the leaders continues. Range time for me tomorrow, and a round planned for Sunday, as the weekend weather here looks to be dry and warmer, so 60 - 70 degrees F. Hope that your day is the best it can be, and that something fun and enjoyable is in your plans.
  4. Happy Birthday @TylerC31 Hope your day is the best it can be.
  5. Hope you did well on your final too!
  6. Another good call with general topics and discussions both verbally and in the chat feature by the members and moderators. Jamie, @GolfSpy_APH provided some data on membership, posts, and some information on upcoming guests. Masters tournament also briefly discussed and mentioned. Discussions or questions asked were which topics are those in attendance interested in, and some discussion on those topics and products. These calls not only provide insight and valuable information to those in attendance, it also lets the people behind the screenname interact with one another. I look forward to these every Thursday.
  7. Pretty sure that we ALL have been there before @cnosil and may even get lost in our ways again, but it does come back and the most important part of the trip is the camaraderie
  8. @Steve F that is exactly what I do to join the calls, stay a little longer after "normal working hours" to participate. Also, here is a direct link from Google Chrome to the calls. I have it saved as a bookmark. https://meet.google.com/zat-zbnx-kno
  9. Good morning Spies on this Community Call and First Round at the Masters Thursday from a wet Michigan. Raining here, and supposedly lasting all day today through tomorrow morning. Although we can use the rain and I don't have golf plans until the weekend, not a big deal to me. Hope you get the t/stat and wiring issue resolved @cksurfdude, a lot of great advice, but with you knowing exactly how the house heating is laid out, you will make the best decision for yourself. Hope that all here have the best day they possibly can, that something fun and enjoyable may be in your plans, and hope to see many on the Community Call later today,
  10. Happy Birthday @Jean D and @JFore99 Hope your day is the best it possibly can be.
  11. Very informative and educational video. Thanks for sharing it here.
  12. Good morning Spies on a cool and clear Wednesday here in the Motor City. Did manage to get some real outdoor practice putting in yesterday evening at the course close to home. At least that green has been rolled and mowed, so more normal surface than what I have seen out on the courses so far. Normal work day for me here, although the number remaining is getting smaller fairly quick. Hope that your day is the best it can be, and that something fun and enjoyable is in your plans.
  13. Happy Birthday @NorCalCamper, @peteco, and @Tx-Ping Hope your day is the best it can be.
  14. Just a FYI - typically an imported vehicle engine or other major powertrain components typically are more expensive than the American vehicles, due to both quantity originally produced and how many actually may be here in the USA. Although since the pandemic, nothing seems to be close to what the price it was before that event.
  15. Congratulations to this group of testers. Looking to read their comments and thoughts after putting these rain suits through the elements.
  16. Congratulations to this group of testers. Looking forward to the comments and thoughts on the fitting process and comments and reviews once these are in play.
  17. Good morning Spies on a clear Tuesday here in Michigan. @Josh Parker and @jbern thanks for sharing the great photos. @berkeleybob hope your wife gets better soon, and all resumes back to normal there. I did see it get dark, like dusk here, and the temperature dropped about 6 or 7 degrees for a bit, and then it was back to daylight and warmth when it all ended. We used a piece of cardboard with pinholes in it, held over your shoulder and projected onto another piece of carboard and was able to see the eclipse that way. Hope that your day is the best it can be, and that something enjoyable is in your plans. Putting practice for me after work is in my plans.
  18. Happy Birthday @Wakit300, @Crossroads Golf, @11Scooby71, and @JRDuck40 Hope your day is the best it can be.
  19. Cool thing, and hoping that you are able to get them signed and sealed. Hope that you will able to share the renderings once it is all completed.
  20. Derek, @EasyPutter IF it is a cloudy day there and you would want to see it, our local CBS affiliate is streaming it, and also showing it for a couple hours this afternoon. Supposedly going to be clear here enough to view it. www.cbsdetroit.com @IndyBonzo interesting about your Purdue connections, original founder of my company and many others employed here are graduates, and they have made donations to even have a building there. The Dauch family.
  21. Good morning Spies on a back to work, and maybe catch the eclipse Monday here in Michigan. Weather forecast is favorable for viewing conditions, and although I will be at work, I can get outside to view it if I want to do so. Played a round yesterday, and far from ideal, but great to be outdoors and enjoying both nature and the camaraderie of other people. Hope your day is all you want or need it to be, and that something enjoyable is in your plans.
  22. Happy Birthday @chadwzimm, @Beclay, @Rarch, @Klippert, and @markcchap Hope your day is the best it possibly can be.
  23. Had a tee time for 2:00PM today and got to the course in plenty of time to see that due to a frost delay this morning, they were running a little over an hour behind. Decided that since it was about 50, but also very windy we would hang around and go when it was our turn. Sad part was it was packed, and a lot of "first round of the season" players ahead of us. We finished 18 holes in just over 4 1/4 hours, after taking 2 3/4 hours to play just the front. It got colder and the wind gusts increased to about 30mph, so a lot of them left after 9, and we were able to play the back at a fairly quick pace. The practice I put in yesterday did not amount to a lot of GIR, but short game was decent so not a big issue. Greens were not rolled or cut, so putting on them was slow and bumpy. I didn't want to change my stroke just for today in an attempt to force them to the hole. Not bad for first full round outdoors in a while but I am looking to improve upon my iron play going forward.
  24. I don't fish but my son is an avid fisherman here in Michigan and has been for a while. I know he uses Spinners or Crank Bait lures for pike, but after you posted this I found the link below from a place in Manitoba with some advice and a picture that may help you out. https://fishingmanitoba.com/best-pike-lures-for-trophy-northern-pike/#:~:text=(cloudy days).-,Spinner,not break the water surface.
  25. Have a fun filled day! I have been in that area, but it is much further west than I am normally found in. Congratulations on hitting post 7K Jason, @sirchunksalot. Always enjoy your comments and input here on the MGS forum.
