  1. That is a fantastic springtime choice. My friend Dennis Cakebread would certainly approve of your beverage choice.
  2. Thanks. I will check Uline. I use them for business supplies. I agree that 3M is the way to go.
  3. Where did you get that? I'm still using a square of cardboard and a popsicle stick.
  4. I've heard there is some truth to this, but I also heard that it was expanded to a number of courses in the Front Range. Second hand information, but the locals were not happy. I think it's a great solution to a challenging problem. I offered my services with a bow to a former private club and was told that it wasn't ethical. Beats the heck out of a .22 and much quieter. Accuracy is key.
  5. Better add a couple more. They have a funny way of disappearing. Kids, spouse, etc.
  6. Ahh, my bad. Apparently, I should attempt to learn to read. I read that as what in the bag. Must be Monday.
  7. We've got two local kids playing in the Dallas sectional today. John Murdock IV, who grew up in Laramie, and turned pro, and Kirby Coe Kirkham, a University of WY player. John is holding his own and is even after 15. This sectional is loaded with PGA Tour Pros, including a former US Open Champ, Graeme McDowell, and Masters Champion, Mike Weir. Straight and seldom boys!
  8. I am going to make sure the kids watch this in the morning. Bad form.
  9. This sounds like a hit it.......... and go find the head.
  10. Couldn't ignore the reference.
  11. Ahhh, Mcmenamin’s. I miss that place. Good beer, better food. 19th Street Cafe was a five minute walk for us when we lived on the University of Oregon campus.
  12. With the week I'm having, I might just go ahead and drink everything. I could go ahead and wipe out my inventory, but my customers might be disappointed.
  13. Hopefully she won't suggest that you use the saved $500 on jewelry.
  14. It should be epoxy. Sometimes the adapters are filled during installation and the excess has to go somewhere.
  15. I vote for wedges. While putters are personal and have a certain feel, how often do they get put into the corner for behaving badly. Same can be said for a driver. My wedges are all built with the identical shaft and grip setup. They feel the same. The lofts are the only variable. I can hit them high, low, flighted, front foot, back foot. For me, they are scoring clubs. I will say that my irons are second on the list. It's a feel thing. I don't like the feel of some irons.
  16. I considered the all PAC-12 line up but Peter Jacobsen didn’t receive an exemption this year. Oh well.
  17. I was seven and still remember the explosions waking me up that morning. I was at my grandparents house outside of Eugene(over 125 miles to the south) and it sounded like someone was shooting a shotgun outside. I distinctly remember looking at the clock on the nightstand and it read 8:33. The eruption started at 8:32. Funny how those things stick with a person.
  18. I’m going to join you. The peloton we ordered in November finally arrived on Friday. Trying to find the motivation to set it up and get my fat *** on it.
  19. While yes, the situations were different, the optics are the same. It’s a bad look and when these examples continue to present themselves, particularly in the women’s arena of college athletics, the comparisons need to be drawn. This is the only way the narrative changes. This is exactly why federal laws like Title IX had to be implemented. The playing field is in fact, not level.
  20. Since it will require the NCAA signing off, they will now come up with some crap about this being impermissible benefits and if the athletes play, they will be deemed ineligible. Hopefully, they get a chance to just play.
  21. There are certainly some similarities to what happened during the NCAA Basketball tournament. The men had full weight rooms set up in a conference center and the women got a small rack of weights. A girl from Oregon pointed this out on social media and after a litany of excuses, the NCAA made an attempt to correct it. Bottom line, NCAA makes a tacit effort at best, if it isn’t football or Men’s basketball. These are the two sports that generate revenue. Everything else is a victim of bureaucracy. Title IX at least provides some opportunities for female athletes.
