  1. Good Morning. Nice morning in the Great White North. Sadly no golf today, but it was a nice warm day yesterday and the same is expected today. I will hit a sim later today to work on some swing changes. At least the puppy is enjoying the snow…
  2. I hope that Titleist will do the right thing here. I believe they should given it seems to be a defect of some kind. I love the TSR3. It’s a better driver for me than the TSi3. I don’t have your swing sped but the GD Tor AD-Di 6S works wonders for me.
  3. I’m not sure what you guys don’t like about the KS2. It looks perfect for a meat tenderizer!
  4. You may want to try to put these various options on a roulette wheel and spin it to see what to try first!
  5. After getting used to playing with worn groove wedges, you will be surprised how much zip you will see when you get fitted for new wedges. Wedge fittings can be a lot of fun too. There are a ton of different wedges you can try out there.
  6. Good Morning! Start of a new week. Warmer day up here in Western Canada. Snow expected later in the week. More indoor sim lessons planned.
  7. Haywood CBs are great. Bought the 7 iron to try it out. I would also suggest that you might want to try the Takomo 101Ts as well. Both are on the lowest end of the spectrum for new irons.
  8. Inspiring! Congratulations on the milestone! I agree that the Mods have been great in making this an active and fun forum…
  9. I was also barely making it through a full round this year with my Apple Watch. So hopefully it’s good for another year…
  10. I love the icrossover. Bought the 425 version since it was a lot cheaper.
  11. HIDEKI ON Closing round 62 to crush the competition at Riviera! Has to be a favourite at Augusta! Great to see him shooting darts again!
  12. Adams Tight Lies 5W it’s an upcharge Fujikura Fubuki shaft about 15 years ago. Worked great on a warm day on the range at a Demo Day. Couldn’t miss actually. Dead straight with lots of carry. Then got it and couldn’t hit it at all. I think it might not have been spec’ed properly, but never really checked it. Total waste of time and cash.
  13. Love this set up! My go to for my Gamer!
  14. Interesting question…. Just some initial thoughts… I found in my fit for drivers last year that the Stealth 2 is quite penal for shots not hit on the screws. When hit on the screws it was the longest of all the drivers I tested, but it was very fickle. So this may be a club head issue vs a shaft issue. Have you tried the Q10, I hear that it’s better on off center hits.
  15. The DI is in my bag depending on the conditions and the course. I find if it’s windy and the course has rolling fairways, a DI on par 5s can be very handy. Also if it’s windy my DI flies lower so it can be more effective than my hybrid. I do think my DI is a little hard to hit from the rough than a hybrid. So there are plus and minuses. I just bought a Ping I-crossover 425 2 iron and it seems to look better for my eye than my U510.
  16. They are putting in Puttview. Should be a world class putting facility!
  17. Good morning from the Great White North. We have a long weekend up here as well. Sadly no outdoor golf is possible, but hopefully I will get some time on the simulator. Still working on some swing fundamentals… Have a great weekend everyone!
  18. I love your WITB for 2024. Some great choices. It shows that newer is not always better. I am learning that staying loyal to one club manufacturer is not the MGS way, or the root to the perfect set of clubs…. So I have started to broaden my bag over time too… it’s been great. The input of the forum and MGS testing has been awesome too.
  19. I think the success of the Pro V1 shows that if you can make an excellent ball, the public will be loyal and pay an extra premium price for your ball. Not saying that the TP5 will attain this, but it’s the TM goal. So $100 mm may be worth the investment. I am sure Titleist has spent a ton building and producing the number 1 ball in golf…
  20. Some hybrids are more geared for sweepers and some hybrids are more geared to a negative attack angle like irons. So I believe a fitting will be able to guide Marlin Dave to the right type of hybrid.
  21. Working on trying to get more shaft lean at impact. Also working on not releasing the club too early. its been hard for me to execute this… This could take a while to fix.
  22. Banff is great. You will love it. I would also try Kananaskis and Jasper if you are headed this way… the golf and the views are nice as well… just let me know and I can definitely help you… lots of options out here…
  23. Good Morning! I hope everyone has a great day. Hopefully you are all organized to do something special for your significant other today. Remember they are the ones that accept your golf addiction for what it is… an incurable disease!
  24. Some very interesting perspectives on what makes a good golf course. Really enjoying this thread.
