  1. Im in GR area as well always looking for good ppl to play a round with.
  2. Thanks for the info, I feel like i do have some knowledge but still have a lot to learn in my opinion. I will work on building up a set at home and let everyone know how it turns out. If anyone has done this or come across this problem too any input would be helpful.
  3. Hello all, I've been building my own clubs for a little while now. I was just fitted into the Project x LZ 6.0 minus 3/4 of an inch. I have recently purchased a set of new Mizuno MP18 SC heads for the new build. I tested them and they feel like butter when hit pure. I have a question for all you MGS people out there. I will be cutting down the shafts and i need some swing weight advice. I have had a couple ideas for this build to not add to much weight into the head with tip weights to where it feels like a mini hammer. I do have a swingweight scale at home to check and fine tune each club to ensure correct swing weights. First thought- Use a lighter grip such as the GolfPride Tour Velvet 360 Lite which would add about 2 swingweight points back into the club, and then use a tip weight to fine tune the weight to a D0 to D2 weight. Second- Utilize a super lite grip such as the Golfpride or Winn grip at 25 grams but I'm afraid doing this would effect the overall feel of the club . Third option- Using only tip weights to bring the overall swingweight back to a D0-D2 I'm leaning towards the first option as it tweaks both sides for a better overall feel i hope vs adding or taking away weight or adding it to one end of the club. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Josh
