I have been streaming Laudermilk on Netflix. The first 2 seasons are like crack. Season 3 is not quite as good, but some episodes are great.

What Is The Most You Would Pay For A Putter?
Placasse61 replied to GolfSpy_APH's topic in Golf Clubs
I have never really thought about what I would spend. I guess because I have really only purchased 1 putter for $95.00 10 years ago. (my one other putter was given to me). I would guess that for one club (I do get that it is an important club) would be under $200. Call me cheap -

Good morning Sunny but cold today! Monday morning with my spitfire granddaughter making potions and Mac n cheese for breakfast just because, and waffles for lunch! Chilly track practice again today gearing up for a scrimmage against Milford and Hopedale Wednesday. Warming up a little on Wednesday (playing shining rock with golfspy_shark and brother in-law) should reach upper fifties. Have a great day

How could you not play a yellow ball!

What Are Your Hurdles/Excuses For Not Practicing?
Placasse61 replied to GolfSpy_APH's topic in The 19th Hole
It used to be work, family, 2nd job, kids' schedule's, projects etc. Now it is projects, track, and my inability to practice without hitting a ball. So that leaves me with the range, simulator, or playing. For the cost I choose playing every time. -
Good morning, I am very disappointed on the weather the last couple days here in MA, 30's overnight and low 40's and WINDY in the afternoon sooooo cold. Started the "SPRINTER" track season this week. Good turnout for Bellingham 51 boys 30 girls, and I am excited with the first time young TRACKSTERS!!!! Should be a really fun season. I hope to be able to play next week and hope we get back to the 60's soon! Have a great weekend

Putt to hole or spot on green
Placasse61 replied to MeyerBirdie's topic in Introduce Yourself/ WIYB (What's In Your Bag)
Under 5' I try to take the break out of it with a firm put to the back of the hole and hope I don't push or pull it! Longer puts I find a spot that is in the line, and gauge the speed. I definitely need a better (consistent) approach to distance, and a square putter face at impact. -

The G730's look awesome. They would look so cool in Black.

I have used 18 birdies the past 6 years for yardage and scoring. I did use diablo for keeping my handicap, but there were some technical issues and all my rounds were lost 2 years ago so I just keep it on 18 birdies now. I am thinking about using Arccos to monitor club distances, because I did not like how cumbersome 18 birdies is with tracking that data. Any thoughts on Arccos ease of use on the course.
