  1. I have always liked to walk so a carry bag was always my choice. After I stopped running 9 years ago I started to struggle over the last 3-4 holes so I started using a push cart in 2020. I purchased the MGS Jones bag last year and it really doesn't sit right on the cart (bad impulse purchase) I definitely should have a cart bag., though not a Rodney!
  2. I have been streaming Laudermilk on Netflix. The first 2 seasons are like crack. Season 3 is not quite as good, but some episodes are great.
  3. I have never really thought about what I would spend. I guess because I have really only purchased 1 putter for $95.00 10 years ago. (my one other putter was given to me). I would guess that for one club (I do get that it is an important club) would be under $200. Call me cheap
  4. Good morning Sunny but cold today! Monday morning with my spitfire granddaughter making potions and Mac n cheese for breakfast just because, and waffles for lunch! Chilly track practice again today gearing up for a scrimmage against Milford and Hopedale Wednesday. Warming up a little on Wednesday (playing shining rock with golfspy_shark and brother in-law) should reach upper fifties. Have a great day
  5. It used to be work, family, 2nd job, kids' schedule's, projects etc. Now it is projects, track, and my inability to practice without hitting a ball. So that leaves me with the range, simulator, or playing. For the cost I choose playing every time.
  6. Good morning, I am very disappointed on the weather the last couple days here in MA, 30's overnight and low 40's and WINDY in the afternoon sooooo cold. Started the "SPRINTER" track season this week. Good turnout for Bellingham 51 boys 30 girls, and I am excited with the first time young TRACKSTERS!!!! Should be a really fun season. I hope to be able to play next week and hope we get back to the 60's soon! Have a great weekend
  7. That would be great! My son Mark golfspy_shark, and his buddy Brian golfspy_bos also live in Bellingham. plan a small match maybe
  8. we are in Bellingham, between Milford, Franklin and Medway. We are still in uper 40's but a couple weeks away from consistent upper 50's
  9. Under 5' I try to take the break out of it with a firm put to the back of the hole and hope I don't push or pull it! Longer puts I find a spot that is in the line, and gauge the speed. I definitely need a better (consistent) approach to distance, and a square putter face at impact.
  10. Sorry I thought I couldn't post my round from Thursday, thought it started monday 3/18. Is my 18 birdie score card okay?
  11. Date 03/17/2024 Course Name Heather Hill CC Gross Score 91 Course Handicap 20 Gross Strokes over/under par 21 Net Score to Par 1 Net Score 71 Net Birdies or better Longest Drive SIM Round?
  12. The G730's look awesome. They would look so cool in Black.
  13. I have used 18 birdies the past 6 years for yardage and scoring. I did use diablo for keeping my handicap, but there were some technical issues and all my rounds were lost 2 years ago so I just keep it on 18 birdies now. I am thinking about using Arccos to monitor club distances, because I did not like how cumbersome 18 birdies is with tracking that data. Any thoughts on Arccos ease of use on the course.
  14. Good Morning, Finally, some sun this morning after 4 days of gloom! Doing some woodworking today then take Lincoln for a walk. Hoping for nicer weather next week so I can get a round in! The Gate is open!!!!!!!! Have a great weekend
  15. I am sure you will be awesome!!! More like I need to uphold my end of the bargain!!! Not sure where you are in NC, but I just got back from Currituck NC played Occano on 2/28 (30-50 mph winds) and The Point on 3/3. Nice tracks but would love to play Occano in season.
  16. Gorgeous day 65 and sunny. 47/47 8 fairways 5 gir 7-3 putts on sanded aerated greens. Really hit clubs well.
  17. Good morning, sunny and mid 50's early with a high of 65 today. 10:00 tee time at The Point golf club today. https://www.thepointegolfclub.com/?https://www.thepointegolfclub.com/&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA3JCvBhA8EiwA4kujZpGt6EHCEzMHH_QpTIjlvJXBE_chF1ACn9oqVmqcP9JsQw-uYS9bbRoCnSgQAvD_BwE Have a great day!
  18. We did and had a great day. Playing the Point in Powells Point on Sunday.
  19. Good morning Beautiful sunrise on the sound. Heading to Corolla to walk the beach and maybe catch some horses. Have an amazing day
  20. good morning Spies Played yesterday 70's overcast with 30 mph winds gusting around 50! Never played in those conditions and it showed! There were times the wind affected putting, stopping downhill putts or moving the ball during putts! I hit 9 of 15 fairways and hit my Irons well but couldn't adjust approaches and short game to the wind and couldn't handle the many sand traps around the green. Had so much fun but the score was terrible 53/62. Have a great day
  21. Good morning Spies Overcast this morning but mostly sunny today and 75. Playing Occano today in Eastern Carolina, will be interesting with strong winds so it will be interesting. Have a great day
  22. Good morning from Currituck, Having a cup of joe enjoying the sun rise. Beautiful morning (50's), so great to feel that spring weather is getting closer. Taking my mom out to lunch and relax with my sister and brother inlaw today. Hope you all have a great day
