  1. 8 rounds so far. 6 in MA 2 in NC. Playing #9 tomorrow at the gate.
  2. Congrats testers! Will be watching this one closely
  3. Well, the Edisons have stayed in my bag. I have been working on my focus with chipping using the 55* and it is starting to work for me. Getting much better chips above, below and just off the fringe. I continue to like the feel and have much more confidence around the green. As it gets nicer out I will check in again with some numbers, and how they are holding up with lots of play!
  4. Happy Friday, Lots of wind and pouring rain here. Figures that my plan of spreading loam yesterday was a bad Idea, as I watch it wash into the street and create brown puddles. With any luck there will be some seed and loam left where I put it. The weekend looks good and better next week . Hope to play the "Gate" on Wednesday after morning track practice. Have a great weekend
  5. Good Morning We have had a beautiful start of the week, sunny 60's, but that ends today. Rainy and 50's next couple days. Glad I got a round in yesterday. spreading loam now with coffee before the rain begins. Have a great day
  6. looking forward to watching some of the par 3 Wed, and some on Sunday! Cut -1 Top Amateur: Stewart Hagestad LEEETTTTSSSS GOOOOOO!
  7. Good morning, Great start to the week, 60 the next three days!!! Yay Spring!!!! Hope to get out Wednesday! The back 9 of the Valero yesterday was riveting. That playoff hole was nuts with Bhatia's shoulder and McCarthy's fall away mistake (looked like me) Shame after his 8 birdie back 9 Go UConn!!!!
  8. I am only a casual PGA fan but here is my list! 1. The US Open because it appears to be the most difficult and frustrating to the Pro golfers. 2. Master's because of the beautiful course conditions. 3. The Open (where it all started) 4. PGA Championship not as familiar with its history.
  9. Happy Friday, It truly is a happy day as we get sunshine for the first time this week. I really need the sun, and warmer temps would also help. Slow morning after dinner last night at Glen Pharma distillery, and a couple cocktails (smoked old fashion), followed by 2more at home with my brother in-law and sister. Heading to the Patriots Hall of Fame today, for the first time. Hopefully get a round in next week. Have a great Friday and weekend
  10. I have always liked to walk so a carry bag was always my choice. After I stopped running 9 years ago I started to struggle over the last 3-4 holes so I started using a push cart in 2020. I purchased the MGS Jones bag last year and it really doesn't sit right on the cart (bad impulse purchase) I definitely should have a cart bag., though not a Rodney!
  11. I have been streaming Laudermilk on Netflix. The first 2 seasons are like crack. Season 3 is not quite as good, but some episodes are great.
  12. I have never really thought about what I would spend. I guess because I have really only purchased 1 putter for $95.00 10 years ago. (my one other putter was given to me). I would guess that for one club (I do get that it is an important club) would be under $200. Call me cheap
  13. Good morning Sunny but cold today! Monday morning with my spitfire granddaughter making potions and Mac n cheese for breakfast just because, and waffles for lunch! Chilly track practice again today gearing up for a scrimmage against Milford and Hopedale Wednesday. Warming up a little on Wednesday (playing shining rock with golfspy_shark and brother in-law) should reach upper fifties. Have a great day
  14. How could you not play a yellow ball!
  15. It used to be work, family, 2nd job, kids' schedule's, projects etc. Now it is projects, track, and my inability to practice without hitting a ball. So that leaves me with the range, simulator, or playing. For the cost I choose playing every time.
  16. Good morning, I am very disappointed on the weather the last couple days here in MA, 30's overnight and low 40's and WINDY in the afternoon sooooo cold. Started the "SPRINTER" track season this week. Good turnout for Bellingham 51 boys 30 girls, and I am excited with the first time young TRACKSTERS!!!! Should be a really fun season. I hope to be able to play next week and hope we get back to the 60's soon! Have a great weekend
  17. That would be great! My son Mark golfspy_shark, and his buddy Brian golfspy_bos also live in Bellingham. plan a small match maybe
  18. we are in Bellingham, between Milford, Franklin and Medway. We are still in uper 40's but a couple weeks away from consistent upper 50's
  19. Under 5' I try to take the break out of it with a firm put to the back of the hole and hope I don't push or pull it! Longer puts I find a spot that is in the line, and gauge the speed. I definitely need a better (consistent) approach to distance, and a square putter face at impact.
  20. Sorry I thought I couldn't post my round from Thursday, thought it started monday 3/18. Is my 18 birdie score card okay?
  21. Date 03/17/2024 Course Name Heather Hill CC Gross Score 91 Course Handicap 20 Gross Strokes over/under par 21 Net Score to Par 1 Net Score 71 Net Birdies or better Longest Drive SIM Round?
