  1. Got a pair of Skechers last year and they have been the most comfortable golf shoe ive ever worn. Ill be buying another as soon as these have run their life (or maybe sooner )
  2. 5 pairs for me. They tend to rotate based 75% on what I'll be doing that day and 25% on outfit. If I'm walking twilight 9 I'll usually use any of my non-spiked pairs with my skechers go golf elites being the go to because of hour comfy they are. If I'm playing a proper 18 I'll wear spikes like my Adidas tour 360s or Footjoy Originals ( although i dont find them comfortable enough to walk 18 in so i usually save them for rainy days in a cart). I've been fortunate to have a boss (head pro) who loves shoes and is the same size as me. So ive gotten a few pairs that have been worn like once or twice handed off to me.
  3. The best way I've found to keep myself motivated and interested is to never stop looking for new things to learn. Whether its watching every single TXG video (sometimes multiple times) or finding new stories to read/listen to. If its connected to my game that's great but sometimes I find when you focus on your own game you can get into a rut at times. I have the luxury of working at a course and never have to go far to have a good conversation about the game. Then I feel motivated to go out and have a good story of my own. Makes me want to spend more time on the course and practicing. Long story short, sometimes enjoying the big picture aspect of the game makes you enjoy and work harder on your personal game.
  4. I totally didn't consider the competition mentality and other non swing aspects. As someone who doesn't play competitively as much as I used to id still go with the coach for just personal game growth but that definitely makes it a seriously tougher choice.
  5. Friend posed this question to me the other day and I thought it was interesting. Would you rather have a lesson with Rory or his swing coach? I choose swing coach cause it could be more tailored to my style but missing the chance to meet Rory would be a downer. Interested to see what other people would say. Do you prioritize performance or experience (not saying you wouldn't get performance from Rory).
  6. Yeah its great. Ive used it so much though its def showing some wear. Clevland is gonna be the first place i look for a replacement.
  7. Hi guys, new here so i figured I'd start with a WITB. Driver: Callaway XHot pro 8.5. Had this for years and it holds up strong. Will be tough to replace 3wood: Ping G410 lst @13.5°. Newest club in the bag. An absolute rocket and great alternative for tee shots. 3Hybrid: Adams idea 18°. Another older club that has done me alot of good. Hit it right and it rockets off the face. 4-Pw: Titleist AP2 716/714. Had my 5-pw in the 716 and absolutely love the feel. Makes irons the most satisfying part of my game. Recently picked up a 714 4i to replace an adams 4 hybrid. Wanted to bring my flight down a bit and have more consistent distance. Knew i wanted to try and match my already great iron set and it has performed perfectly since. Wedges: A wedge- callaway x24 hot. Definitely looking to replace this as i work on gapping more and look for the control a specialty wedge would offer. Clevland 52° cg12/ 56° cg16- my go to short game clubs. Have offered me so much control amd couldnt be happier. Only reason to replace them will be age and possible gapping issues in full shots. Putter: Odyssey Versa #7. Workhorse of my bag and has suited my eyes since day one. This one is gonna stay in the bag for a lonnnnnngggggg time. I look forward to joining the community and learning new things.
