  1. There is not enough gas to burn this place down and get the heck out of there... Furthermore, I hope you didn't clear that with an actual shovel.
  2. 11° here this morning and I thought that wasn't too bad. Better than -24°... If I stayed home from work because of temps I would never go in.
  3. If it's sunny and no wind I can do a little bit below 40 as long as there's a promise to get to the mid 40s. Wind is a deal breaker.
  4. My golf rule: I will play in cold, rain and wind. Just none at the same time. I use a UA belt style hand warmer with an 18 hour heat pack. My next purchase is going to be an electric vest.
  5. I picked up the Transfusion yesterday because of this and Bob Does Sports. I wanted the Ranch Water also, because I do like tequila and jalapeno together but they didn't have the flavor. The Transfusion was not too bad but I wouldn't sit around drink them at home. More for an on the go venture somewhere......well like golf if I drank while golfing... I was screwing around at a scramble these would be ideal. Light and easy to drink, too easy actually.
  6. Bought some golf dotz because left dash balls do not have a customizing option, and a UA golf shirt and shorts since the had a 50% off sale at the outlet and a follow up 20% military discount....
  7. Actively shopping ball mark repair tools....
  8. I don't own it anymore but I believe the Cobra S9 was one of the loudest drivers. It sounded like aluminum bat when you hit it. *to add to this... I always knew when one of my golf buddies was on the course because I could hear this driver. You almost never hear a driver more than a tee box away.
  9. I don't know if this is considered equipment but I'm thinking about buying the the course playing software for my mevo+
  10. I can see where the slope isn't scary enough to keep the dreamers away.
  11. End of the season here and having to travel to play. Playing at a track just outside Portland and my drives seemed to be traveling further than normal, must be my new otto phlex shaft . I am playing from the tips (which isn't that long) and they have all the tees as far back as they can get them. I decide after my drive on the 14th hole, I would measure it. Sure enough it was way up there. Mapped out at 322 in the fairway..... I am certain it had to have hit a rock. My longest of the year and made this old guy happy for about two minutes until I hit the $h!ty chip after.
  12. Fortunately, at my course the members get first dibs on tee times. Come after 11:00 and who knows how it goes. We still have slow players but they know the game enough to not be too terrible. However, an extra 20-30 seconds a swing of deliberate setup does take its toll. Maybe join a club that has stricter rules and more favorable options for players and tee times?
  13. Sunday shouldn't be too bad. Go play Tedesco.
  14. I am in the same boat. I will probably try using the conventional method over the winter and see if it works better and can get used to it.
  15. I got a Midlock putter early this year and it took me quite a while to get used to it for a long putts but I finally got the hang of it. My grip is similar to the ops that I grip low on the grip with my left hand and just at the white with the right hand. I don't know if I just suck but I do have a hard time hitting The Sweet spot with the putter. I get a little out of sorts with the putter but when I'm on, the putter is awesome. I usually take extra time to make sure that I'm not coming over the top with it which is something I have a propensity of doing. I find that if I slow my back swing down so that I'm not coming forward as I'm going back it keeps me from coming over the top, which is pretty much my problem with any of my golf clubs. On the evnroll website they recommend that you just putt your normal putting stance, and position then let the grip take care of the forward press so that's what I did this last time and it seemed to help out quite a bit by letting the club do the work instead of me trying to add forward press. Me adding the forward press really left me with fairly poor rolls. I tried putting more vertically like Bryson does and that does work well but unfortunately I'm very inconsistent on my setup at times and don't do everything I need to do to set it up.
  16. Well it looks like you could use another 4 buckets to sort out....
  17. I had the same problem with golf balls. I finally leave the majority behind now... Any one need 4 buckets of golf balls btw?
  18. I use three and one quarter inch bright orange hard plastic tees. I used to tee it high, hit up on the ball and catch the tee and it would go about 20 yards and I kept losing tees until I switched to the bright orange one. Now I tee it a little lower so the tee doesn't come out of the ground as frequently but I rarely break one of these tees and I usually can find it.
  19. Well, I am not a fan of the right arm bending like it does, but my 2 quid may go with tempo. Looks like you are starting your forward swing before getting set. I assume you are used to playing this swing but mechanics wise there is a lot to be desired. I would narrow the stance a bit as well.
