  1. Anyone knows if this still functions in some way? I don't have an Android phone and on Iphone I can't seem to get it working, the app just doesn't exist anymore? Any ideas to get it working?
  2. Hi everyone Let me start off with agreeing to the 90% of you, your bag should be based on fitted equipment! I'm only a HCP 26, so equipment for me is also not the important thing right now, getting a consistent hit is! However, recommendations are still usefull. My bag: - I'm rocking the (fitted) Titleist AP1 irons, but only 6 through to P wedge - I love my Odyssey White Hot Pro 2.0 Rossie with an oversized Super Stroke grip. - Long hitting, my trusted partner (yes, I'm deeply in love with it) is the Srixon Z-F85 3-wood (standard grip & shaft) (200-220m/220-240yards) - Short game is based on 2 2nd-hand Trusty Rusty wedges (51° & 57°) mostly, combined with an old McGregor DX Sand Wedge from my starting set. - I'm experimenting with long irons (2nd hand Nike blade 3-iron in the bag) because my main gap is between 6-iron and 3-wood. - Every driver I try is temporarily broken as long as my hands are on it... - I do have an old rubbish resque hybrid (Also McGregor DX), but it's much much too flexible for me, and it's just utter rubbish. - Tried multiple golf GPS's, but currently using the simplistic Garmin G10 attached to my bag or in my pocket, works best for me! (Tried Apple watch, multiple apps, ...) - Apparel is mostly Nike, because it's good looking... (Nike Janoski golf shoes, Nike glove, Titleist cap!, Nike polo's, Nike pants) - Not spending much attention to golf balls, however I try to have consistently the same balls. Wilson currently. My 1 rule is that I do not break the bank! I don't need the newest, most expensive models... I need decent equipment which fits my needs and doesn't require me to win the lottery before buying it. Any tips on what long irons, hybrids, or any other equipment can do for me, is very very very welcome (very!). Thanks!
  3. Hi Guys! New member from Belgium/Antwerp region... (Don't see much Belgium-related topics here??) How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? Been playing since 2017, so still working on a consistent and average game. (And not losing too much balls) What do you love about golf? I LOVE this game since the first time I was introduced with it. It's a perfect combo of technical skills/precision/force, and on the other hand the nature, peace and calmness, concentration and tactical game. I also love it because the game is never over, you can keep gradually improving in 1 of the hundreds of parts of this game. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? I don't know any other Spies, I came across you guys as a Youtube Channel (No putts given) and based on equipment review Google searches. Where are you from? What is your home course? I live in the upper part of Belgium (if you can split a country which is that small already!) My Home golf course is 'De Kempense Golfclub' in Mol-Belgium, which in my opinion is one of the best courses in a reasonable radius. They are also spending quite some effort in modernizing it currently. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? Best thing is that it's becoming quite popular and approachable for anyone, and the worst thing is the same! It's so busy at popular tee times... What do you do for a living? I'm a full-time IT Application Architect at a big insurance company in Belgium. How’d you pick your user name? Well... It's my name... Lastly, a bit about my 'Golf interests': - I'm a Titleist guy when you ask me - BUT, I'm a fitting guy at most! (I have Titleist irons fitted, but have a Srixon BOMBING 3-wood) - Next to brands, I'm a gadget guy at heart! I need to have those gadgets, at least if they don't cost me a kidney! Currently focussing on how I'm going to build a 3x2m putting green for my home office which I can put away against the wall when not needed. Thanks for reading!!
