  1. The posture - balance points - is probably his greatest contribution to modern instruction. I’ve never heard any teacher describe the setup in this way. I used to goat hump until I masted his balance points posture. Now I can squat and keep the butt back with no problem in the downswing.
  2. For me it’s easier to think of it as torquing your trail foot into the ground. I feel like I stay on my back leg (like Gankas himself has to do) or I slide too much.
