Ditto on all the slow play posts. The most aggravating thing for me is after a round, when you are in the bar with your buddies, no none wants to hear in detail how you birdied the last hole. What could be more fascinating than a duffer play-by-play?

Having spent many years and thousands of dollars on equipment and lessons so I can hit the ball further, I strongly object to golf bureaucrats screwing me and the other 99.9% of golfers who are not "destroying the integrity of iconic golf courses" with increased distance. Why don't we put speed governors on formula 1 race cars and make NBA centers wear ankle weights. Please stick to generating obscure rules regarding outside agency or undo delay.

As the supply of the left dash dwindles, am trying to find an equivalent replacement, e.g. the new PV1x. Has anyone down some play testing? Thanks.

Just stay off concrete. I bought 2 pairs of Sketchers spikeless shoes and did an experiment. I alternatively used 1 pair only on the course (put them on when I got to the first tee). The other pair I put on at home and wore them to the pro shop, the range, the clubhouse afterwards, to the IGA store on the way home, etc. The all-activity shoes were wasted after less than 2 months - the other pair is still functional after 6 months.

Just ordered a set of Srixon irons at a demo event and they arrived with Recoil 760 F2 shafts. Imagine my surprise when they seemed to be at least one shaft grade stiffer than my existing stock Callaway A shafts. Is the Recoil F2 actually an A shaft or does it just play stiffer than other brands. In any event, I am out $750.

Have played several times with the 2022 AVX. Completely different ball than the 2021 - more spin off driver and feels much firmer, more like last year's PV1X. One thing is the same - will not stop like the PV1. Tempted to just go back and play SuperHot 55s.

Left my rangefinder and my XR 11W (yes, I know) on the 9th fairway at a local course. Discovered them missing on #10 and went back to ask the guys behind us if they had picked them up. Nope, was the answer. Drove back to 9 and no club/laser. There was however, a Ping 7i in the exact spot where my junk had been. Went back to the 10 tee and asked the guys if it was their club and one said yes. It doesn't take Colombo to figure out what happened. Disgraceful.

Hitting the new V1x on the course, noticed some distance loss. Went to Club Champion -TrackMan said I was getting almost 800rpm more spin. Has anyone else noticed this?

Forget the tee height - the best way to hit it longer is use a buddy's driver. Every time I hit someone else's club, I hit it 20 yards further.

Does anyone PURE their shafts anymore and does it help.
