I am 74 years old, solid 5’8”-170lb. golfer. Used to be 12-15 hdcp,now about 18. Have Callaway 13.5’ Rogue driver(A-flex), 4,5&6 XRSteelhead hybrids again with stock A-flex shafts,7-PW XR irons with stock A-flex graphite shafts, Callaway Apex GW with Recoil A-flex shaft, and VokeySW with standard steel shaft. Really want set of Mizuno 919/921 Forged or Hot Metal irons. Going soon for driver fitting, with irons to follow. Normal shot straight or fade. Since my iron set as is includes mostly scoring irons, can I justify forged for the feel as opted to GI. Oh yeah, swing speed about 80. That will be confirmed with up coming fitting. What say you? Forged or Hot Metal?
