I know vice has a mix dozen of their balls. You could try that and find one you like. I like the balls from oncore. They are currently having a father's day sale 2+1.

They are the same loft and lie angles as the pings. I hit the takomos at least 1 1/2 clubs further. CC takes stock black dot irons and bends them to your specs. The shafts in the pings are Accra shafts. CC has a fit guarantee only for the first 90 days. After that they will only chage the loft / lie angle.

The putter is the one club I haven't changed in 25 years. I'm using a ping nickel anser 2 and I still love it.

Anyone else here not happy with your custom fitted clubs? About a year ago I went to club champion and got fitted for new irons. I feel that the fitter pushed me to a certain brand (ping G425) and after the fitting was very pushy. Almost like a used car salesperson. When the clubs came in they were easy to hit. So, I sold my current irons. After a short period of time I realized the new irons were 1-2 clubs shorter. I went back to a different club champion (closer to my home) and the fitter reviewed everything. I was fitted at 2 degrees upright. But, the irons club champion built had different lie angles for each club. Some were 4 degrees upright and other 4 degrees flat. He fixed that. But, that still didn't fix my problem.

I picked these irons because I need a little forgiveness. But, would like the feel of the forged irons. Doug Troy,Alabama 12 Handicap Ping G425 I agree to participate in any discussions in the forum.
