The shrink wrap has been removed and Ive taken 20% off the resale value (just haven't taken new pics) so I may as well give it a whirl I spoke with one of the guys in the local golf store who is a member at my club and he said that this putter was "as close to cheating" as you can get He did also say that theres pretty much no difference in performance from the AI-One to the AI-Milled, its just the premium paint job and material, but they were able to replicate the performance almost exactly.

I recently won the AI Milled Eight T putter and I honestly hadn't heard too much about it, I wasnt even in the market for a new putter, i was quite happy with my TM Spider X. I know that every company and its dog needs to include "AI" in product releases or risk being told they are out of touch by "the market", so an AI designed putter seemed pretty gimmicky to me even though I know Callaway have been pushing this AI design thing for a couple of years now. I just thought Yeeha! £400 putter that I can sell to fund other stuff... then I started using it! I live in the West of Scotland and my course is inland (very wet in winter) with a lot of construction work going on so most of my testing so far has been indoor on a PuttOut mat, apart from 2 trips to the course so a lot of my feelings so far are based on ideal conditions testing but feedback so far is that this thing (for me) feels like the laser guided caddy shack putter, its incredible! The variable thickness face is definitely doing its job, the variability in stroke (how badly you get it wrong) needs to be massive to screw this up, even the ones that do miss are right next to the hole, I mean inches either side, no brainer tap in. Of course its not going to help you read a green but putting is about confidence and the consistency of this putter so far is providing that in spades. My putt stroke had been mostly straight back and forward with the Spider, but as this putter has the Slant Neck, I have introduced a very slight arc in my putts with great effect. I know this is another variable in testing so how can I be sure its the putter and not the swing making the difference? Keeping this same swing path on the Spider X produces wildly differing results, ridiculously differing results! Even going back to straight back and forward on the Spider I get nowhere near the consistency, Ive also tried straight back and forward and slight arc using an Odyssey Works Versa 1W, again, I cant get near the consistency of the AI Milled. I will add to this later in the year when Ive had a bit more real world testing but so far I can say Im massively impressed with this putter.

I tried the 130g in the original fitting and not that the 130g was too heavy, it just felt a lot better with the 120g. I also just need to ensure I don’t go nuts with the flight as I have a very high bal flight and I play golf in Scotland

hi all, sorry I know everyone will be busy with the 2021 Masters but could anyone able to give me a steer please? I’m getting a replacement set of irons from TM due to a batch defect but the shafts I was fitted for (Dynamic Gold x100 120g) are no longer available. They have the DG Tour 130g but I tried the 130g in the fitting and it was just a bit too much so we went back to the 120. They have the current Dynamic Gold, Nippon, Project X & KBS Tour options available to choose from. I have a really high ball flight, 7 iron is about 170 yards, driver around 300. I can’t get onto a launch monitor to pick the new shafts. Any ideas what I should be getting in place of the Dynamic Gold x100 120g? thanks in advance.
